The white she-cat stared at them both, WaveSo-, no, WaveStar and AshPaw. She shook her head, her blue gaze fixing on both.

"No, AshPaw, it was not your fault. I should of made sure no one was following, plus, I should of known that they would follow."

She snorted.

"Since, kits always love adventure, and to experience new things!"

She looked at the kits, and smiled. She felt bad though, for not taking them back like she was supposed to, like she wanted to.

She sighed, and padded to the three kits, gripping two of them by the scruff. She glanced at AshPaw and WaveStar, and went towards the entrance.

She did feel them struggle, but she kept her grip, waiting for WaveStar to head out.

She mumbled through kit fur,

"WaveStar, you will always be WaveSong to me. You have always made the right choices, which makes you who you are."

She closed her eyes, then openned them, muttering through the kit's fur once more.

"I am glad that you are our leader."

She nodded, and decided not to wait. She started to pad out without them.

Wavestar sighed, it would never be the apprentices fault. He should have taken a warrior who could have handled this with him. Besides, Mosspelt was supposed to be watching. "First day and I already make a mistake." His thoughts were interrupted though by the form of a small cat sprinting out and stopping only when she almost ran into Spottedpaw. "I'm sorry Wavesong...er Wavestar. I looked away to help Moonsight for one moment and they were gone." Wavestar nodded before motioning for Mosselt to take one of the kits from Spottedpaw. He in turn grabbed the other from Spottedpaw and the other one that was left. Mosspelt quietly walked onward with the kit in tow, her tail between her legs. Wavestar paused for a moment and said through the scruff of the kits, "Thank you Spottedpaw, I really appreciate that."

She noticed that she was almost ran into, which she moved to the side, to where she was not ran into. She placed the kits down, so they took the kits. She sighed, and sat down.

She looked at WaveStar, and slightly nodded.

She went back to get the other kit, her ears flickering a bit. She knew what she said was true, but then again, WaveStar might not think that.

She closed her eyes for a second, and padded back to Wavestar with the kit in her jaws.

Smallkit was behind. "I told them we shouldn't have gone! That it was a Place of StarClan not kits. For medicine cats and Leaders and the ones chosen!" she piped up. Swiftkit was scuffling his paws. "We thought that it would be fun!" he murmured. But Swankit held her head high. She didn't say anything though...

Wavestar just shook his head and padded forward, he couldn't wait to return to his camp. He hoped he had the knowledge now to lead the clan, but he knew he'd never be sure.

Ashpaw scuffled her paws as they spoke but followed silently. She was going slower than everyone else, thoughts whirling in her mind. She sighed, moving along as fast as needs be to keep pace.

SpottedPaw noticed that Ashpaw was silent, so she stayed behind. She waited for Ashpaw, and paced along side with her. She noticed that the kit that was in her jaws was Smallkit, one of her favorite kits of them all. She was the smallest, and she was nicer than the rest, smarter too it seemed.

She looked at AshPaw, and closed her eyes for a second.

"What's wrong?"

She murmur'd between Smallkit's fur.
