Froststorm sighed. "Crookedstar won't care. All she cares about is killing more ThunderClan cats." He studied faces of the living that reflected on the bottom of the stream. "I would have thought that I had caused more harm when I was alive. But now my death may have caused a war." The pale tabby hung his head.

Neetleheart doesn't know of my latest plans. If she did, she'd know to save Riddlehawk for my return. But it can't hurt for him to know that he's got another me on his back.

"I suppose you are right. She seems so.. pushy and up tight lately."

A new reflection in the moving water caught his eye. "More will be here, if that's the case. But I may not be." His flicked his ear to what he was watching- a she-cat and a male, both slightly past the age of kitting. But the she-cat (Leo, the name came to him) had a swollen belly in this time of leaf-bare. Froststorm's blue eyes gleamed as he looked at them, but then he pulled away. I wanted to be RiverClan, through and through. How can I if I am born a loner's kit?

She laughed softly, and nodded. She peered over the shoulder of FrostStorm, seeing what he was looking at. Her ears flicked.

"Reincarnated? Is that what you are thinking?"

She smiled.

"Hm.. Maybe that family would be acceptable, right, MoonShine?"

She glanced at her.

Froststorm twitched his whiskers. "Yes, that was my request. To have a second chance among the living world. But I wanted to be a Clan cat, a RiverClan one if the possibility came, not a stray loner with no knowledge of the warrior code. Otherwise there's no point." The pale tabby glanced at Moonshine, wondering what she would have to say.

"You might wander."

She whispered in his ear, but gave a shrug.

"Kits.. are kits. They like to wander.. like that one there.."

She pointed with her tail to the multi-colored she-kit that was stuck in mud in ShadowClan's territory.

Yes. Kits do have a habit of wandering. Like that little loner kit there.

She said, pointing towards a little multicolored tom, Bluejay.

Besides, Froststorm. You could choose to be reincarnated as one of those kits. And of course, as kits often do, you could always wander away into Riverclan territory. And I'm sure a Queen would take you in.

Moonshine said, turning her gaze to the little she-kit stuck in the mire and gunk of Shadowclan's territory. How those cats dealt with all the muck, she'd never know.

Froststorm flicked his tail, unsure. "I suppose. I don't believe there are any nursing queens in RiverClan currently, in any case." He looked over to Moonshine and Moonshadow. "And perhaps either of you could lend a helping paw? I'd rather not end up in another Clan."

"Sure, if that's okay with MoonShine."

She gave a soft smile.

"Who's that? I know she's a loner kit but I don't know her name...."

"Last time I checked, her name was Flora. I could be wrong though."

She smiled softly.

"She likes to think she is the boss of her siblings, and she has the brains. She was kit-napped, but she got out with her sister. They went back to their parents, and she got in an arguement, and she ended up here.."

She shook her head.

"I hope the others are okay."

Froststorm murmured in agreement. He really didn't care either way about these random kits wandering the forest, getting into trouble. At least not until he was a random kit finding his way back to RiverClan territory. He began to imagen what his return would be like. A lone kit would wander off away from his family and stumble upon the river that marked RiverClan's territory. Some cat would have to spot him, and take him in. It was doubtful that his Clanmates would think it was Froststorm, but at the very least think it resembled him. I wonder if Neetleheart will think anything of it. Maybe, maybe not. He flicked his tail. But I have to hope she does. She holds the key to my past life.
