Jaggedpelt closed the distance with a chuckle. "Scared are we?",he smirked. Lionkit cowered into Shadowblaze as she cowered into his father. "What is the forest coming to. Storms all over the forest.", he laughed.

ShadowBlaze chuckled, and turned to JaggedPelt. "Yeah, just a bit. I guess this is just normal Leaf-Fall weather, though." She looked down at LionKit and chuckled again. "You know, when I was a kit, I was terrified of thunder storms. Every time one rolled around, I would squeak like a mouse and dash into the nursery!"

Lionkit squared his shoulders and puffed out his chest. "I am not afraid. I get to sleep in here with daddy", he said proudly. He bounced around until another craqsh of thunder hit. He squeaked and cowered under his fathers tail. There were no kits to or queens for Jaggedpelt's kits to be fostered so they stayed wherever.

Jaggedpelt sighed at his kit tried to be brave. He didn't feel quite as sad when he was with Lionkit because he didn't look like his mother at all. He went back to his nest and curled up to sleep, but it never came.
