Patchedfoot was in the nursery but when she saw her kits rush out of the den she stood up and padded out to watch the ceremony. She had heard that her kits were going to be apprenticed today. How exciting!

SpottedPaw dashed out, she loved meetings. She sat down, and waited, her paws scuffling with excitement.

Ashpaw bolted out of the Apprentice den. She sat down and waited. She knew she needed a mentor. Sure, she could easily take on the job. But she needed training that surpassed her own.

Smokepaw walked out of his den and sat down waiting for the rest of the clan to assemble.

ooc: Will Moonsight do as Sparklepaw's mentor? That's the only other warrior I can think of now. Rawr.

Bic: Wavestar watched as his clan mates assembled below him. This was his favorite part of being the leader, being able to make new leaders and apprentices. "Today I will be doing a few things. First off though, we have a few apprentices that have proved them selves to our clan. Spottedpaw, Smokepaw, please step forward."

SpottedPaw suddenly squealed, but slunk down for a few seconds. She had been waiting for this her whole life! She padded up, looking up at Wavestar with bright eyes.

Ashpaw purred, flicking her tail happily. She watched, her blue eyes bright and excited. She was so happy for Spottedpaw!

Wavesong smiled at the two apprentices before speaking. "Today we welcome two new warriors to our ranks. They have trained hard, and have learned the way of the warrior code. Smokepaw, Spottedpaw, do you promise to guard this clan, and the code, with your life?"

SpottedPaw's paws were working against the ground, her movements showing excitement. Her crystal blue gaze shone up at WaveStar, and purred loudly.

"I do!"

She exclaimed, her tan tail swishing back and forth.

Wavestar smiled at the two apprentices. "Then, by the power of Starclan. I name you Spottedtail and Smokewisp (ooc: Is that okay?). As customary, when this ceremony is over, you will guard the camp in silence till the first patrols are out."

SpottedTail purred loudly. Her tail was swishing side to side. She felt eyes pierce her skin, but then decided to rise up and say SmokeWisp's name.

"SmokeWisp, SmokeWisp, SmokeWisp!"

She yowled.
