Rushtail sat at the edge of the creek. He was thinking deeply. Many thoughts swirled around his head. Why are cats disappearing? Could Lurkclan be part of this? If so, where are they taking them? Rushtail shook his head and sighed. "What if Lurkclan finds me here and takes me? What will happen to Spottedpaw?" Rushatil said to himself. He looked up at the sky and looked at the bright clouds. "They are always free, but will the clans ever be free?"

Silent padded happily through the territory. He mewed contently, "Soon I shall be back with my clan... I hope they did not miss me to much." Silent heard steps near by, he turned his head to see who it was. "Rushtail! Greetings!" He called out the warrior, "Did the clan miss their leader too much?"

Rushtail turned around. "Silentstar? Where did you go! Wavestar became leader because we thought you had disappeared forever!"

Silent stared at him. "I went to Moonstone... And I fell asleep." Silent said blankly. "YOU HONESTLY MEAN TO TELL ME I SLEPT FOR THAT LONG!?" He yelled in a fury.

Rushatil put his ears back and stepped backwards. "Well, yeah. I don't know how you fell asleep that long though, but you aren't leader anymore..." Rushtail said his eyes looking down. "We thought that you had gone to Starclan."

The white apprentice was planning on sneaking up on RushTail, her white fur barely blended in. Her tan tail swished about, her blue eyes focused on RushTail. She purred softly, but the stopped, seeing SilentStar padding up to him.

She froze, she didn't know what to do at this moment. WaveStar was now leader, but what did that make SilentStar, and how could he sleep there, when she did not see him at the MoonStone?

She shook her head, her gaze focused on RushTail once more. She purred softly again, stopping so she made no sound. She suddenly leapt from the bushes, hoping to knock RushTail over.

"Hey, RushTail, how was that?!"

A shadow seemed to hang over Silent, "I see... Well in that case I shall simply leave..." Silent turned and began to walk towards Windclan border.

Ruhstail got startled a little bit. He stared at the apprentice who bumped him. "Pretty good, lets see you get out of this!" Rushtail said throwing his paws out and 'grabbing' Spottedpaw. He nuzzled her and let go. He loved his apprentice like his own.

SpottedPaw purred, feeling him nuzzle her. She purred louder, her head nuzzling against his muzzle slightly. She loved to nuzzle people, but then noticed what Silent said.

Her ears flattened against her head, jumping towards him, leaping on his back. She knew she didn't pin him down, since of how small she was.

"Don't go! We want you here.. but if you want.. I guess we can't stop you..."

Rushtai; looked at Silent. "If you want, you can become a warrior again, and maybe you might become a deputy again, but don't keep your hopes on it." Rushtail said putting his head up to the sky. I don't know why, but I can't keep my eyes off those clouds.
