Forever Alone

Lillywhisker stood near the edge of a small pond, watching as her reflection wavered in the ripples. She was sure no one else knew of this spot, for there were no other cat smells around. She didn't mind, she needed the time alone, especially after blowing up at Snowfeather. Turning away she walked to a small den she had found, probably a badger's den, but it held no smell of the first inhabitant so she wasn't to worried. Sitting in the edge of the den she looked out at the water again, she couldn't live in Lurkclan much longer, it was driving her insane, but how was she to leave?

Clear smelled the scent of cat, which worried him. He slunk in, then saw the she-cat. He kept his green gaze at her form. He wondered what was wrong. It was hard not to hear him, with his big feet, which usually made 'thumps'. "Uh..Hello, what's wrong?" His long gray tail swished a bit, showing he was rather tense.

Lillywhisker started at the sound of an oncoming cat. Slinking deeper into the small den she hid, trying to cover her white pelt with the shadows. When i didn't work she sighed, she was trapped in a den with a cat standing just outside. What was she to do? "Oh please don't find me."

Clear blinked, getting un-tense. He just stood outside, waiting for her to come out. "Oh please, I'm not one of those.. cats.. that.. uh.. chase others off of their territory. For this is not mine, I am just.. traveling, to figure things out." He blinked.

Lillywhisker padded out slowly her blue eyes searching the tom's to see if he was lying. When he was satisfied that he wasn't she sat down and ran her tongue of a paw in an attempt to clean her fur. "Then why are you here?"

Clear blinked, his tail tip twitching. "Trying to figure out.. what isn't taken, territory that is.. This isn't.. is it?" He sure hoped it wasn't, he was tired of being found stealing, for it wasn't his nature.

Lillywhisker shook her head, once again staring at the water. It had an alluring quality, and she loved being near it, maybe she was born to be a Riverclan cat. Chuckling she shook her head, that would be the day. "No, this is neutral territory."

Clear just nodded his light gray head, his gaze fixed on the water. "Want to swim or something?" He wanted to be polite, since she seemed in pain, or hurt from something. He walked towards the water's edge, putting a single paw in, somehow big splashes being made, hitting her pelt slightly. "..Er..Sorry."

Lillywhisker laughed, padding over the river silently. This tom's personality was refreshing after all the other's back at her camp. Dipping a paw in she sighed as the coolness soaked into her fur. "I think I'd enjoy a swim."

Clear nodded a bit, padding in completely now. The water soaked his fur, making it a darker gray. "I didn't catch your name, what is it?" He asked, his green gaze shifting towards her.

Lillywhisker padded in as well, shivering slightly. Watching as the fish swimmed away she thought about how the Riverclaner's had always caught the fish. She'd have to try it some time. "I'm Lillywhisker."

Clear nodded slightly, looking at the silver fish swim. "Want a fish?" He looked at her, then back at the others. "By the way, I'm Clear." He kept his eyes on a fish, just in case she asked for one.

"Nice to meet you Clear." Glancing back at the fish, the white she-cat tilted her head. Fishing couldn't be that hard. "I think I'll try catching one by myself if you don't mind. I've never done it before."

Clear nodded slightly, his gaze shifting over to her. "It's mostly over Time, by the way, and precision." He smiled slightly, "My.. mother taught me." He looked at a fish that was coming towards her, being rather large, at least that is what it seemed with the shadow.

Lillywhisker nodded, concentrating on the same fish. It was a slow swimmer, and it was very annoying. For quite some time she stood there and waited for it, finally her paw darted out and the fish flew out of the water and onto land. Meanwhile Lillywhisker flew forward, having lost her balance, and was now completely drenched. "Oh this will be fun to explain to the cats at camp."
