Melting Heart (Greypaw/Spottedtail/Cinderpaw)

Smallpaw was running, faster than she had ever run before. Through the hills until there was Crooked creek in front of her. She stopped, her pelt lined with ice and snow she peered at the gap in the ice that had been made by something else. The sun was setting and the moon appeared in her line of eyesight. My sun is setting, the star will welcome me... she took a pawstep towards the lapping water, "Goodbye WindClan." she said softly to herself.

The she-cat was in camp, trying to look for SmallPaw. She noticed that her scent was gone, not completely, but very very stale. She looked all over, and even asked a few cats, who said they saw her leave camp.

That made her edgy. She followed the stale scent that lead out of camp, which lead in the direction of the Crooked Creek.

She followed, her paws dashing against the frosted ground, her tail high in the air. She panted, only one thought on her mind; Don't do something stupid please!

She saw a bare outline of her friend, looking like she was about to jump.

She dashed, and bolted in her side, pinning her down on the earth near the river.

Smallpaw jumped away from Spottedtail, "You can't stop me!" she said, backing away.

The she-cat snarled as her face ran up in dirt, paws scraping the frost that swelled up inside her pads. She would have to visit the Medicine Cat when she got back to camp, with SmallPaw.

She got up, and turned around to face SmallPaw.

"Yes I can!"

She growled, jumping infront of her, paws slamming against the frosted earth.

"I'll fight you if I have to!"

Smallpaw jumped back, "Go ahead, but tonight I will do what I must. I have already decided my destiny!"

She growled even more, taking another leap towards SmallPaw. She made her leap short on purpose, so her nose looked like it was touching SmallPaw's.

"You don't choose your destiny, StarClan does!"

Smallpaw jumped back again, "I will be joining them soon, no doubt!" she snarled, she made a leep to try and get back to the creek.

This time, she didn't jump forward, she kept her ground. Her blue eyes were blazing, and her fur was up.

"Not on my watch!"

Right when she leapt, she jumped as well, but aimed for the side. She held her down, and let out a growl.

Smallpaw noticed this unexpected move, tried to dart away, but was too slow. Yowling she hissed, "YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"

Tears in her eyes she had one thing in her mind she must just leave..take her life and join starclan to make it so she cant stand in the way of anybody. she neared the stream only to see Smallpaw and spottedtail fighting but continued on anyways she would drown away everybody's sorrows as she left to join the great leaders before hers. She retched the edge of the creek and got ready to jump.

Now, the new scent made her distracted. Another she-cat about to jump in the creek? No! She couldn't stand for this.

She shifted her eyes to CinderPaw, and yowled.

"No!"

Cinderpaws ear shot up to see that spottedtail had noticed her and got ready to jump. She backed up and started to run. Not caring if she were to die today for she would not stond and stop smallpaw and greypaws love no matter how much she cared for him.

Smallpaw scrambled up as soon as Spottedtail's weight shifted, charging for the water. Stopping at the water and then plunging in after a seconds breath. The churning water engulfed her, then all was black.

Her paws were reached out and splashed into the water. She moved and held her breath then released it then let the water spill into her. She fell to the bottom went limp and didn't move she was hanging on only to say a goodbye to her friends and to cry to what she hoped was the last time.

a white warrior had stayed hidden in the bush for some time she dove into the water for the small ginger apprentice and soon returned later only to disappear into the bushes behind.

Cinderpaw felt cold around her as she coughed up water. Her fur now wet and sticking to her side as she gasped for air and fell over as the world turned black.
