Smallpaw was still laid in the nest. She hadn't opened her eyes for almost a quarter moon. Moonspirit was mixing a herb mixture, when it was done she spat it out on a leaf and put it under Smallpaw's nose. She picked up some water-soaked moss and shook of some droplets over her head. Smallpaw stirred but barely, Moonspirit threw the moss away and slid the pungent leaf away. She sighed, suddenly two cats came and sat beside Smallpaw. "Hello, Swanpaw. Swiftpaw." she mewed.
"Hello." They mewed back. Swanpaw looked to her, biting her lip. "We had to see Smallpaw again. It has been too... too long. Will she die?"
"I... I don't know." Moonspirit mewed.
"I miss her, even if we had alot less to do with her when we became apprentices." Swiftpaw wailed softly.
Swanpaw and Swiftpaw exchanged sad looks and cuddled beside their sister, warming her with their bodies. Moonspirit want to the entrance, sitting in the way but looking at the camp.
"Hello." They mewed back. Swanpaw looked to her, biting her lip. "We had to see Smallpaw again. It has been too... too long. Will she die?"
"I... I don't know." Moonspirit mewed.
