The she-cat knew her meeting for the clan was delayed. She didn't seem to have any time. She was worrying on a lot of matters. She always have. She hated it when she did so; she can't help it, though! It's like her nature.
FoxStar nuzzled her black paws for a bit while she stayed curled up in her nest. She was loving it for a while, rolling over on her back, letting it scratch upon the moss. Ah, that felt rather swell.
She slowly got up, and sniffed the air. It seemed rather damp-- it might rain. She didn't know, nor did she care at the moment. She had to make apprentices-- wait... who would be their mentors? She didn't really think this out at all. Maybe she could apprentice one... maybe. She didn't know at all.
She slowly slid her paws against the ground beneath her, and slowly walked out of her den. Her paws were skidding against the ground, letting the dirt get in between her paws. Ah, most would be fidgeting because of it, but she personally loves it. She doesn't know why, but she just does.
Foxstar sighed softly to herself, letting her ears droop a bit. She let herself down. Well, not really. At the moment she felt as if she wasn't doing a good job. Mostly because she didn't know who should be a mentor. Who was mentoring apprentice's anyways? She didn't even know!
She looked up at the clouds, which were slowly covering up the sun. She disliked the sun, personally. It was way too bright; it hurts her blue eyes. FoxStar just ignores it, honestly.
She shook her fox-like shaped head and looked at the high-ledge, leaping up on it. She barely missed, her front paws against the surface. The reason why she missed was mostly because she seemed kind of out of it at the moment. She was a bit dazed.
Her back paws moved up towards the edge, her claws sinking into the rock. Well, not really sinking into it, more like scraping against the edge. She gritted her teeth, and slowly pulled herself up.
Her ears pinned against her head while she turned around, her gaze traveling across her camp. It was still quiet. It was rather peaceful. Did she really want to ruin that? Ah, she would have to, a meeting needed to be called out and done. It was true.
She arched her head rather upwards, letting her gaze look at the covered sun. She smiled softly to herself, but that smile soon disappeared.
She opened her jaws in a yowl-- one that held a brave leader, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the highledge for a clan meeting!"
She lowered her gaze towards the ground, well, where her clanmates will soon sit down at. Which, gradually, she already saw a few cats pad out of their hiding places and sit down. There was three, SootClaw, GoosePaw, and NightPaw. She already knew what they were thinking-- "what is this about?"
She sighed softly, soon seeing a kit dashing across the ground to her father. It was a fluffy orange tabby kit. Looked almost like her mother. The thing was-- she had a problem. She was mute. FoxStar herself knew that Quietkit wouldn't be able to be a proper mentor to another. It would be rather difficult.
She wrinkled her nose, loving the look of QuietKit nuzzling SootClaw's leg, while SootClaw licked her head. It was so sweet...
