"Yes... It's going to rain!" she suddenly chipped up, jumping high in the air all of a sudden, "Everything is funner when rain comes!"

FoxStar purred a bit, and nudged the tom with her right paw, "Don't you think so?"

Her face was bright, as in, she looked really happy. It was quite amazing. People(cats) usually thinks she so... distant. But no, she is, but at the same time... she's not!

She usually escapes the camp when it rains to play-- that's why she's usually muddy when she comes back. She LOVES the rain. Why? It's fun to play in. Puddles... Rain... ah, that's the fun stuff!!

"Really?" Swiftpaw always stayed cooped up in the medicine cats den when it rain. He didn't think getting his paws muddy was something to enjoy. But, if Foxstar said so...

"Yeah!" The black and white tom leaped to his paws, his paws itching with excitement. At first, he had dreaded the thought of rain. Water was only for Riverclan, right? Now, he couldn't wait for the droplets of water to start falling from the sky.

"What should we do now?" he asked the Windclan leader, practically jumping for joy.

FoxStar looked at him, and purred. Her paws were itching with excitement-- not like they weren't beforehand, but... yeah, it was even more... well, itching with excitement!

She couldn't help but have her eyes gleam with joy, while she waited for the droplets to fall.

"This is where we wait..." she murmured, "and the only way to make time go fast is to..."

She suddenly launched her body at SwiftPaw, and tried to swat at his ears with sheathed paws while yelling, "Play!"

FoxStar felt like a kit again, and it was great. SwiftPaw was the inspiration that she needed. And she wasn't exactly sure how they would react back at camp. It isn't like they can play out in the middle of camp... can they?

After the day is over... what will happen? Would SwiftPaw still be my friend? Would he want to come out here again and play? I don't know... this is silly. COME ON RAIN FALL!

Swiftpaw gasped as Foxstar leaped at him. The she-cat had completely caught him off guard. He felt his legs collapse underneath her weight.

He wiggled out from beneath her and got to his paws. He raced toward her, prepared to leap. He never was the best fighter, but they weren't really battling, just playing.

Swiftpaw's mind reached back to the time when he and his sister played like this. What would happen is she were still alive? Would she be here with them, enjoying herself?

But it didn't matter. She was gone and would never come back.

He felt water run down his cheek. Was he... crying? No. He felt something wet fall on his head. Then his back. And finally on his mussel.

Swiftpaw stopped running toward her and glanced upward. Sure enough, storm clouds covered the sky and small droplets were raining down. "The rain!" he cried happily. "Foxstar, it's raining!"

She purred rather loudly. She loved the rain. I mean-- who wouldn't? Well, RiverClan of course, but... the other clans would just be missing out if they didn't hang out with the rain. You could do so much with it.

"Yes!" she purred, soon pouncing on Swiftpaw, making sure she was pinning him down.

"Are you ready to experience the joy of rain?!!?!?!?!?!" Foxstar exclaimed, letting her pelt soon get soaked with the droplets that was coming from the sky. Ah... rain.... rain....

Swiftpaw struggled beneath Foxstar's weight. He knew she was just playing, but she was much older and weighed much more then he did. He pawed at her underbelly and tried to push her off.

"Yeah, I am!" The rain began to fall in bigger drops and at a faster rate. "I can't wait 'til it really starts to downpour!" He felt himself growing more reluctant as the rain made his fur stick to his pelt.

But Foxstar says it's going to be fun, he reminded himself, and I have to believe her!

((Know what would be really weird. if SwiftPaw and FoxStar had something going on. That'd just be. Weird. And really forbidden. x2.))

FoxStar flashed him a smile, and threw her head upward. She opened her jaws slightly, to let some of the rain go down her throat. Afterward, she shook her head side to side, while hopping off of the young tom.

"Nomnomnom!" she suddenly pounced on a patch of grass, which sent rain droplets flying along with mud.

"Come on, SwiftPaw!!"
