The Last (or maybe not) (RiverClan patrol ONLY)

Firestar had lead the four patrols to a hidden spot in the moor where a few boulders could hide them. She wanted to do a quick head count before going to the camp. It was just past moonhigh. She mewed, "Who is here?"

((OOC-If your charrie is planning on battling you should post here, but it is not required, I just want windclan to finish their meeting before we attack.))

This she-cat didn't want to be here, but she had to. This will let her choose weither or not she wanted to stay with the clan; if she needed to be with the lan. She didn't know. There was too many things going on that she just couldn't handle.

The she-cat was following her leader anyways, even though she didn't want to be here. Her ears were flickering back and forth, the tip of her tail twitching. That dark red stain was still there, for she just couldn't manage to get the blood out. Then again, she was just a tad bit lazy back then.

Now here she was-- face-to-face with death, quite literally. This is death in her eyes, for you never know if you were going to die or not. A battle is death, at least, in her eyes. She wasn't brave enough to die yet.

She looked over at her leader, and couldn't help but surpass a growl.

"Me."

NeedleHeart was wobbling her way along, and just huffed.

"Me." Darknight mew'd after SunLight did the same.

"I am here Firestar." These words came from the gray deputy who padded up beside her, meeting her eyes before looking out to the rest of the cats gathering for the battle. Hopefully...no lives would be lost today..
"Same here." Hawktalon spoke up as he sat down, awaiting instructions.

Snowfeather gave a sniff, not bothering to look at any cat at all. She felt, well, she didn't know exactly. She just didn't feel right here no longer. She didn't want to fight. She wanted to leave.

She slid over to FireStar, and sat beside her.

"FireStar. I must warn you, I may not join you with RiverClan after this is over. Loner-life has softened me, and I do not think you will need a warrior such as I. This battle will prove if I am worthy. If I should come back. I may die, yes, but if I am alive, then I will have to choose between my heart and my mind."

She mewed in hushed mews.

Firestar narrowed her gave in disappointment, "If that is how you feel then..." she trailed off turning away with a sigh. She trusted Snowfeather with her life, with her secret she told hardly any cats. She didn't know what to think...

Unable To Face You

"I'm here, too." Ravenstone padded up to the gathering group of cats, and sat a little ways away from Snowfeather. He couldn't bring himself to look at her. Everything had just gone all wrong. He'd messed up beyond repair. He'd let her down.

"I'm here, Firestar!" Icepaw was coming up behind the black warrior, and he went straight around the black tom to sit near Needleheart. He was far too young to concern himself with the love affair business going on between the three warriors sitting around him. Instead, his mind was focused on the thoughts of battle. He couldn't wait to be in the middle of all the fighting cats, to be able to use his claws for real. These were the thoughts of any eager apprentice.

Snowfeather sighed, and kept speaking with FireStar.

"Really, I'm sorry. Plus, I'm having a few problems. I'm not going to speak about it, plus, I just know I am probably not fit to be a warrior. I may be strong, I may be agile, but on the inside... I feel like a kit."

She muttered in a quiet tone. Her gaze moved around the cats, and spotted RavenStone. She flinched, and looked back at FireStar.

Firestar laid her tail on the she-cats shoulders, "We all feel like kits inside Snowfeather." she mewed, "Especially at a time of battle." She climbed up to a nearby boulder so she could see all the cats. "Cats of RiverClan, a time of battle is upon us! This is your last chance to turn back. Once we are on the Moorland we must stick together. I need several cats to go on and scout ahead-Ravenstone, Hawktalon and Snowfeather. Can you three go ahead and come back to warn us if you get trouble?" she asked, flicking her tail towards the streaming moorland.

SnowFeather looked at her. It didn't seem like she understood. Oh well. She went back to the crowd of cats, only to pause.

No! No! Not them!

Her fur prickled with unease, and then sighed.

"Of course..."

Her voice cracked only a bit, and separated herself from the group once more.

"...Come on, HawkTalon... Ravenstone."

She murmured.

Firestar was confused by the flash of deep emotion in her eyes. From Firestar's understanding Ravenstone and Hawktalon seemed to enjoy Snowfeather's company. Firestar had no idea of the love affairs between them. She nodded and mewed, "First off, I want all apprentices to find a warrior, and stick with them. That warrior will be responsible for said apprentice.

By this, RosePaw heaved up onto her paws. She looked around, but she didn't know whom. She didn't really trust any, for they haven't gained enough trust to come talk to her. Well, mostly because she did leave and came back.

She padded up to FireStar, and looked up at her curiously.

"W-Will you partner up with me?"

Watch Me Soar

Icepaw looked up to Needleheart with a sense of expectancy. She was the only warrior he really knew besides his foster siblings, and even his knowledge of them was limited. Besides, she would be in his patrol.

"I'll fight as hard as I can, so you won't have to always watch out for me." The comment wasn't meant to be rude or stand-offish, but one of reassurance and confidence. The young tom wasn't going into the battle with any fear in his mind.

Why Me?

Ravenstone's ears fell. Why was Firestar putting them together? Them, of all cats! He glanced uncomfortably to Hawktalon, then Snowfeather. He muttered something along the lines of "Fine," and went a little closer toward them still without being too close. The black tom was backing off.

When the three cats did come closer. She rounded up on both Hawktalon and Ravenstone.

"You guys. I know how both of you feel. Stop fussing over it, and just leave me alone. I can't have both of you, I know that. So, I'm not going to choose. I will love you both, yet I will be with no one. Understand?"

She hissed, her tail lashing back and forth. She didn't care anymore. And it wouldn't matter.

"It wouldn't matter anyways. I'm leaving after this battle."

She growled, turning back around.

Needleheart looked at Ice...Paw. She looked away, her ears flickering over towards Snowfeather's direction. She barely heard any of it, which kinda sucked. She would of loved too get in between.

Her focus then turned down towards IcePaw once more, and sighed.

"Alright."

Her ears flickered around a bit, and heaved herself up on all three. Reason being, her back leg was starting to annoy her. She disliked it horribly.

MiracleFur pushed her way infront of all the cats.

"I will need one helper with me, since I have no apprentice. It would have to be an apprentice, though. The warriors should fight. The apprentice will have to go in battle sneakily, look for injured, and lead them to me. Got it? Any offers?"

She mew'd.

(Firestar's)Rosepaw bounded up to Miraclefur, "I will! I will! Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease?!" she mewed.

Firestar purred, "Of coarse Rosepaw. I'd be glad to." she smiled kindly to the apprentice, it was almost time for many of the apprentice's to become Warriors.

Hawktalon felt just as uncomfortable as the other two. But an order was an order. He sighed, padding along with the other two, none of them staying too close to the other. He exchanged an uneasy glance with Ravenstone before Snowfeather spoke up. His eyes widened in surprise and then looked down, not knowing what to say.
