The calico she-cat looked at Crookedstar. Well why I'm here and what had happened to me are kind of lumped together. So I'll explain. Dappledleaf said. I had been hunting a squirrel and kind of wandered onto your territory. Then I heard a loud noise and I felt a really bad pain in my side. She shrugged gingerly, flicking her tail.

Stormstrike turned his gaze to Crookedstar and stepped just a step closer to Dappledleaf. "I think she was hit with those loud monsters some of twolegs carry. I couldn't just leave her out there and she's no threat. Then Needleheart just attacked her out of the blue!" He explained, glancing from Dappledheart to Crookedstar.

NeedleHeart's ears flickered slightly, padding over to CrookedStar. Her tail swished side to side, brown eyes fixed on DappledLeaf.

"CrookedStar, I have a right to fight someone who was on our territory, am I right?"

"Of-of course, Ne-Needleheart," Cautiously, the small tom walked up, keeping Crookedstar between him and the warrior she-cat. "It's al-also per-per-perfectly alright to-to attack your me-medicine cat," His sarcastic remarks lacked a little of it's charm with his stammer.

Frowned and flicked his ears back. Both in his insecurity and fear.

NeedleHeart's brown eyes focused on the Medicine Cat, her ears flickering slightly. Her tail swished slightly side to side, claws starting to unsheath.

Her fur was bristling slightly, mostly on her shoulder-blades.

Smallwillow unsheathed her claws and prepared to attack Needleheart if she attacked Solospot again. She looked at Crookedstar, and she hung her head down a little, feeling ashamed.

NeedleHeart glanced over at Smallwillow, smiling softly. Everyone should of known that NeedleHeart wasn't that mouse-brained to attack someone infront of the leader, of course, no one knew her that well.

She glanced over at CrookedStar, her ears flickering slightly.

"Do you really believe I attacked SoloSpot? Honestly, why would a cat attack the Medicine Cat?"

"Because they didn't get their way and attacked out of spite. Or because with more cats dead and a severly injured she-cat loner in the area, it would make it all too obvious who would be blamed, then you could take the credit for trying to 'stop the massacre'."

DappledLeaf replied to NeedleHeart's question, though she knew it wasn't directed at her.

Needleheart's gaze shifted from everyone else, to the little calico, DappledLeaf.

"You don't know me, and why would i stop the massacre? Fighting is fun to watch, until it is out of hand."

Her ears flickered slightly.

"I will admit that I attacked you, since you were on our territory. I should of attacked Stormstrike too, since he brought you here."

Her eyes narrowed slightly, her tail swishing side to side slightly.

"Then if you didn't try to stop it and joined in on the klling, wouldn't that be considered betrayal and couldn't that get you exiled?"

DappledLeaf said, looking at NeedleHeart. She had a calm, cool demeanor, though how at a time like this that was possible, no one knew.

Stormstrike growled. "She was my responsibility, either to attack or get Crookedstar. Back off Needleheart, this doesn't concern you." He said icily, his tail flickering side to side with impatience, ears flattening as his temper began to rise. He glanced to Dappledleaf. "You don't have to argue, we'll see who Crookestar believes. Solospot's word or Needlehearts.

NeedleHeart looked at StormStrike, and laughed.

"Doesn't concern me? How does it not cocern me, when you bring some mangy cat who we don't know, but you appearently do? Don't you think, you are betraying the warrior code by some chance?"

She sneered that, but glanced at DappledLeaf, shaking her head.

"That is CrookedStar's decision."
