Dappledleaf padded over to Crookedstar, her light green eyes searching her leader curiously. Crookedstar this is madness. She mewed imploringly. They will know we will attack. They'll form alliances with the other clans. Try to see some reason. I may not be your deputy but you know that we'll lost more cats during this battle. They outnumber us enough as it is, but if we fight this battle, we risk wiping out every warrior we have. Risk killing of Riverclan. Would you put the fate of this clan at stake for the death of one cat? The calico she-cat looked at Crookedstar with a worried frown.

Crookedstar growled as the cat walked away. "If you do not wish to honor your clan you may stay behind and take over the apprentice's duty while they go earn their warrior names." She hissed out. Blatant disobedience it was? She was tired and sick of this. With her strongest warriors either dead or wrought with revenge she had to take action now. "Dappledleaf, starclan will not allow for Riverclan to be whiped out. You haven't seen any signs of Riverclan's Doom or you would have told me. We will attack tomorow after the gathering is finished. If not for the truce we'd be attacking tonight." She said flicking her ears back and forth.

Shadowshine turned and looked at Crookedstar. I'm not taking over the apprentice's duties, I already have my warrior name, and I don't believe in a thing you stand for. So why should I lay my life on the line when I don't believe in the cause? Tell me that Crookedstar.

Fireleaf stepped forward, "Because she is your leader and the Warrior code says it is your duty to follow her. You agreed to that didn't you?" she was of course referring to 'do you promise to up hold the warrior code, protect and defend your clan even at the cost of your life.'

Fireleaf, would you show loyalty to Crookedstar if she were rabid? No. She's not right in the head. Don't you get it? I agreed to protect and defend my clan, not follow an insane she-cat with a bloodthirsty mindset. Not to avenge Froststorm's death, which was going to get here sooner rather than later. You all knew Riddlehawk and Froststorm wouldn't stop until one was dead, you all knew it would probably end with Froststorm's demise. That tom wasn't particularly nice to any of you, besides Needleheart.
