Froststorm rounded on Goldenfur, blue eyes blazing. "As a trespassing cat, you have no say. Not even your leader." He growled as he let his claws work the sandy earth. "You don't move and you'll have more than just me to deal with."

Goldenfur growled, "We pose no threat to your clan, and we haven't touched YOUR prey, filthy prey-stealer!"

Fireleaf had sat beside Crookedstar, her tail wrapped around her paws. She thought that the proposal was more than fair, but would it make RiverClan look weak?

Riddlehawk turned and hissed at Goldenfur. That's enough, Goldenfur. He growled the words at her, flicking his tail. How the tension in the air was affecting him so much! He stared at Froststorm, watching the warrior with eyes that were nothing but slits in his face.

Crookedstar growled. "Do not presume that you rule us Tanglestar. We will take what prey is needed to sustain us whether you like it or not. What I am curious about is why you would want an alliance? Too weak to protect yourselves these days? That's what happens when you let muck into your clan." She perked her ears up at the sound of the intruders still in her camp. "As I said we will not discuss this matter any longer as a peaceful meeting as long as your warriors are in my camp." She blinked her eyes and walked outside for a moment to look at the cats. "Apparently Thunderclan doesnt know when they are not welcome." She hissed and looked at all the cats still in her camp. "If you will not clear off peacefully my warriors have my consent to use whatever force is necessary. They will kill you if you do not leave." She knew that Froststorm and Needleheart would get a kick out of that.

Cheetahtail nodded to her leader as she unsheaved her claws and looked at Froststorm. "Oh goodie any force necessary." She had a bone to pick with Thunderclan and oh what an opportunity this was turning out to be. She curled her lips up and looked at the cats. "So are you going to move or shall I drag your lifeless body to the border?"

I watched quietly as the cats talked. Actually, argued was a better word. Tension was strong in the air. I did not dare speak, to try and break the hostilities between the two clans. Doing so would only cause trouble for myself. I flicked my long striped tail back and forth nervously, would a fight break out? Chances were that if one did, Riverclan would win. There weren't many Thunderclan cats here. But that would be an unfair fight. Starclan would not approve.

My light teal eyes watched at the Thunderclan cats. their proposal was fair. I myself found no problems to it. But clearly Crookedstar did. My gaze seemed to come back to one cat in particular, Rainpaw. He was the Thunderclan medicine cat apprentice, I knew that. He was also quite cute. I frowned thinking about what would happen if Riverclan attacked. Would he be hurt?

I quickly came back to reality and looked somewhere else. I was a mouse-brain. No point in taking a fancy to a Thunderclan cat, a medicine cat apprentice at that. The sooner Rainpaw was out of my head, the better.

Tanglestar kept her cool scenting the presence of her warriors. She ducked her head out of the den and looked at her warriors. "Just go I am fine here.", she said with a smile. She shifted back into the den looking at Crookedstar. The years had crazed her mind and her eyes showed it. "I do not presume anything. You are the one who presumes that all prey is yours. Because yours has run off. ", she said a little anger seeping into her voice.

Riddlehawk flickered his tail. Alright. he said, after a moment. He looked across his small troop of Warriors. Come. Back to camp. All of you. You heard what Crookedstar said. Any force necessary and we do NOT need to lose any warriors. he said, moving up to be next to Rainpaw. He knew that Froststorm would take full advantage of his orders.

Stormstrike sat by the warriors den, watching patiently. He did not take part in anything his clanmates were doing, because to him, it seemed clearly unreasonable. Thunderclan had not come looking for a fight, yet they were treating them as if they were. A couple of warriors and a medicine cat apprentice was no match for an entire clan, surely. He glanced to Dappledleaf, rubbing his shoulder against hers. "It just confirms Thunderclan's thought that we are becoming weak, if we run them off. It makes us look like we can't handle them." He murmured with a frown and a shake of his head. "Tanglestar doesn't even trust us to not harm her medicine cat."

Rainpaw had spoken, but clearly Crookedstar had no intention to listen to either him or Tanglestar. This was crazy, the thought of alliance was of no use now. He shook his head, looking back out at the camp. His eyes went to Riddlehawk's as the warriors began to leave, a sense of dread in his stomach. They would have no protection if Crookedstar finally snapped, but...he wasn't going to show fear. He nodded to Riddlehawk, to show he was alright and could handle it. He also scanned the camp, his light green eyes landing on a she-cat apprentice who had her eyes on him. She quickly looked away, but he studied her a moment longer. She was really pretty...and her eyes...He trailed off, blinking and breaking out of the trance he was in to turn back to the leader's conversation. He couldn't become sidetracked, especially by some Riverclan she-cat. And for a medicine cat apprentice to have such thoughts, it was unheard of. He looked down at his paws, forcing himself not to look back and trying to get her image out of his mind.

I took a small step back as the leaders continued to keep arguing. Tanglestar would be in trouble if Crookedstar's anger ran out. Slowly, I padded over to Fireleaf, sitting by her. "What will happen if it comes to a fight? Would Riverclan go to Thunderclan's camp and fight them there?" I mewed worriedly. I didn't want to fight, for a reason as mouse-brained as this. It would just injure multiple cats, from both clans, and at as time where the clans needed them most.

Goldenfur backed off but her fur sill prickled, she bounded out of camp without a word.

Sunflash snarled at the RiverClan cats, bitter resentment glowing in his amber orbs. But it faded as they looked past the warriors and towards Crookedstar's den. He didn't want to leave, not while Tanglestar was still in there. This Clan seemed to be crawling with flea-bags that would attack her for a few mouse tails. His belly churned, torn between fight and flight. But as Goldenfur fled the camp, his paws followed after her. Tanglestar will be fine. She's more than capable of defending herself.

Froststorm watched the fist two ThunderClan cats leave, then rounded on last remaining warrior. Riddlehawk. The pale tabby wriggled his shoulders, as if preparing to spring. "I'll say it again. Run." He began to pad forward, letting his claws sink into the ground each time they met earth. "I'd just hate to rip you to shreds."

Fireleaf flicked her tail, she would never attack Tanglestar or a lamed apprentice in her life, unless given order. She watched as the two warriors left and nodded to Riddlehawk-he was a decent cat and would follow his leaders orders. As fellow deputys she respected him over other ThunderClan cats.

Needleheart's ears flicked as GoldenFur disobeyed the RiverClan leader, and the RiverClan warriors. She had no right to say, since she is basically surrounded.

She would of gotten in her face as well, but she knew FrostStorm could take care of it.

Her ears folded back a bit, glancing at RainPaw.

Rainpaw glanced to Riddlehawk as he heard what Froststorm said, his ears twitching at the sound of the terrible cat's voice. He stared at him, nodding fo him to go, that he would be alright. He had told Riddlehawk before, he didn't want him to make a bad decision because of him. His eyes flickered around camp, looking over all the warriors and their hostility. 'Riddlehawk, please leave... He thought, his eyes finding Needleheart's for a brief moment before he looked away, back to Riddlehawk. Why was she acting like that? She was being friendly and....nice to him. He had heard rumors she wasn't that kind of cat. So what was up?

Crookedstar seemed to be calmer now that the other cats were gone. "Now, Tanglestar I have thought over you invitation and I accept. Now tell me who are we attacking?" She said tired of this nonsense and wanting to get to the bottom of the dirty pool. "And none of this stealing prey like we are weak. we joined the alliance to better both our clans. understood?"
