This Face

Ice looked up at her as she sat, looming above him in height. Why did the RiverClan cats hate her? She seemed friendly enough to him. Sure, maybe a bit strange with these weird ramblings, but friendly. He nodded. "Sure, I guess so," he mewed.

She forced herself up, her back foot barely touching the ground. She groaned a bit, as she went to walk slightly.

"Ice.. who do you belong to?"

Tired Of

Ice looked down at his paws as he walked next to her, trying to remember. "Well, I wasn't born in RiverClan. I had a family, a mom, dad, and siblings. But I can't remember there names." He wrinkled his nose as he though. "I do remember something I noticed, though. I didn't look like my mother or father, or any of my siblings." The tom was feeling funny, like he had eaten a mouse and it hadn't agreed with him. "But I came out here with my friend Bluejay, and a queen named Moonlight saved me from falling in the river. She said she would be our new momma, and now I live in RiverClan's nurcery." He looked back up at her. "Why'd you wanna know?" His blue eyes were curious, and also puzzled.

Her ears flipped back. Now that was oddly weird. Then her ears went back upright.

"Do I look familar at all?"

She paused, hearing his question. She sighed.

"I-I think you might.. of been my friend.. reincarnated.."

"Or at least.. of some of his aspects.."

She looked down.

"You look like him.. That's why I thought.. he was you."

She choked, sitting down to rest for a few moments.

It's All Here

The kit's blood ran cold. "W-what?" His eyes stretched wide. For a moment he could only stand there, frozen, looking up at her. His young mind had difficulty processing it. "I thought you looked familiar when I first saw your face... But I don't remember you, really." Ice looked at her again, as if it would make things clearer. It didn't. The kit sat down, the fur on the back of his neck prickling. "I don't really understand. How could I be some other cat?"

She confessed. She looked at him, but then back at the ground.

"I don't understand any of it."

She concluded, her ears flickering.

Now Rainpaw spoke up, looking from the other side of the river. He noticed the resembelence too and he wasn't as fond of it as Needleheart was. He would have saved her but...he couldn't swim. His one experience of almost drowning was enough. But he could help her now, it didn't look terribly serious.

NeedleHeart turned her head around at RainPaw, and shook her head.

"Go."

Was the last thing she said, before looking back at Ice.

She could make it, she might be able to get help from RiverClan. After All, she is a hurt cat.

Ice looked back over at the tom across the river with a glare. Something about the tabby made his shoulders tense. Is it because he's from another Clan? I dunno. His mew was strangely cold when he spoke. "I don't think we need your help. RiverClan could help her, too." The kit glanced back at Needleheart quizzically. "So, this Froststorm cat. Who was he?"

The she-cat groaned a bit, her shoulders rolling back. Ice sure did have some of his personality left.

She muttered, slowly straining herself to get up.

"Okay," he mewed, but then he looked worried. "Oh, but I wasn't supposed to be out of the camp. Moonlight's gonna be furious." His ears folded back, not wanting to imagine the look she'd have, the scolding she'd give him.

She sighed, grimacing abit. She shook her head, ignoring the pain.

Ice didn't know what to say. Did she mean that he would have to leave RiverClan? Leave his dreams and his new family behind and follow her? Or did she mean just for a walk, like they were now? He wasn't sure. The kit just swished his tail and padded after her, back towards the camp.
