Leopardclaw sat waiting. Fireleaf not wanting to be with him had made him go nuts. And what he was planning would force her to stay with him forever.

Fireleaf was following Leopardclaw's scent, it filled with some emotion she had not yet smelled before. "Leopardclaw?"

[Tanglekit]

Leopardclaw waited till she wasn't looking directly at him. He jumped out of the bushes where he hid and grabbed Fireleaf's scruff. He began to drag her towards a hiding spot where he had hidden his den when he had left the Riverclan camp. When he got there he quickly braided the bushes to the point of no escape.

Stripedkit dragged mousebile to hide their scent so that no one could follow them by scent.

Fireleaf screeched when she was 'attacked'. She struggled but it was no use-Leopardclaw, the father of her kits, the love of her life... No this wasn't happening. It-couldn't be happening.

Leopardclaw head-butted her into his nest and stood over her pinning her down so she couldn't avoid him. "It's OK we can be together here forever.", he said happily. He leaned down and began to lick her flank. The thought of them together had made him crazy and had clouded his judgement.

Fireleaf looked into his eyes, "We are! I commited to that when we mated, when we had kits!" she mewed.

Leopardclaw shook his head. "Not in camp. Crookedstar is going to die then what will I do sit alone while you rule the clan.", he said the idea inflicting pain in his mind. "No I am an outcast from the clan and I will not return.", he sighed. "I want you to stay here I want us to have more kits and be happy.", he said getting frustrated. He backed away from her blocking the entrance.

Fireleaf stopped herself from running, she would have if it had been any other cat. "Leopardclaw, don't do this to yourself. You don't have to lock me up here for me to love you!"

Leopardclaw sighed. "If you go back to the clan then you can never be with me.",He said full of sorrow. "I am no longer a Riverclan cat... I am a loner now, and so is Spottedpaw. You will be a traitor Fireleaf.", he said harshly. "I want you to stay here.", he said. "I want to stay here with you.", he said softening his tone.

"Leopardclaw! What about our kits?! Please!" tears came from her eyes and she backed away. "Please!"

Leopardclaw un-braided the bushes and walked out of his den. "Leave if you want but you have to know I will not be returning with you.", he said a small tear running down his eyes.

Fireleaf looked at him, her heart bleeding from its core. She ran, far away, the last time she had ran that far is when she was him mate with the loner queen long ago...
