The {snow} is melting.

So this is where she ended up. She didn't expect it, yet she did at the same time. She wanted to be alone, but for some reason, she didn't think that would happen at all. All she knew was that she was being torn. Or rather, "melting."

She sat down right in the middle of the beach, and looked down at her paws. A few tears seemed to slip out from her odd-looking purple optics, falling upon the sandy ground.

She couldn't take this any more. She HAD to choose between them. She didn't know who, and she didn't know how she would do this.

She heaved herself up, and padded rather slowly over to the wide-water, and let the water lap at her white fur. She sighed.

"What am I going to do?"

She murmured, and walked further into the water. She stood there for the rest of the time.

"Snowfeather?"

The black and white tom stood on the shore, his fur ruffling in the breeze from the beach. His green eyes studied the white she-cat he cared so much for as she stood in the shallow water. She looked beautiful, as she always did but he could sense her troubled spirit.

"Would you like to talk or....be alone?"

That didn't last long. She knew something would interrupt her thoughts. And of course, it had to be him. She just stood there for many moments, not sure what to do or say. Truth be told, she didn't want to turn around to face him. She didn't know if she wanted to be alone. All she knew was that she was troubled.

"I don't know."

She finally spoke, although tension was in her cracked voice. She just stood there, with the water lapping at her white fur. This was heart-braking, unbearable. Why must they always come after her? Why must she be in this love triangle?

The tip of her tail twitched finally, ducking her head down in the water. She did not raise it, and she knew that the water was filling her windpipe. She didn't care. Maybe it would be better if she did this.

"Snowfeather!"

Hawktalon's eyes widen in surprise at her actions, sprinting towards her quickly. His progress was slightly delayed as the water slowed him down, but his powerful legs quickly pushed through it till he reached the she-cat. He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, yanking her back to the surface. He stood there, panting in the shallow water as salty water dripped off him. He gazed at her, meeting her purple eyes with his green ones that were filled with bewilderment and concern. "Snowfeather...what were you doing?!" He shook his head, before looking back to her with pure seriousness. "Listen, if it's that hard for you to choose, I'll make it easier for you. Go be with Ravenstone, I don't want to see you torn like this!"

Snowfeather let him pull her head up, but she hardly listened. She barely paid any attention. Her eyes looked drowsy, they seemed to sag. She was not in a great position, not at all. This was just bugging her horribly. Why must things like this happen all the time? She just wanted to see how StarClan was just for a moment. She wanted to just see how everything would be if it was so simple. But, no, it had to be stopped, yet, maybe it was for a reason.

Her ears suddenly pricked up at the last thing he said. Her legs started to wobble. Her fur started to prickle even though it was a bit wet. Her eyes started to blaze. How dare he say that!

"No."

She merely muttered, trying to walk a bit away.

Hawktalon frowned as he sensed a change in her at his words and he studied her expression closely. What had he said that made her so angry? "Snowfeather!" He said as she started to walk away and he padded up beside her before standing infront of her to stop her. "Look, this is hurting all of us and I know you don't want to make the decision but...you can't just walk away from the problems. Talk to me. Remember? Even when we were just friends as young warriors, we could always talk."

SnowFeather looked up at him, and actually had no expression. She didn't know how to feel anymore. All she knew was that she was in pain, and that she wanted to just end it. Doesn't he understand that? It isn't like he is being torn in two because he has to chose between two she-cats. No. He just had to worry about her choosing him. That's different.

"Shut it. You don't understand. No one probably does."

Her expression looked angry and mad, maybe even a bit on the psycho side, at least, where she would be psycho. Her tail was lashing back and forth, and her teeth seemed to show quite easily.

"Hawktalon, that was the past, not now. This is the present. Things now are different, and we aren't as young as we used to be."

She breathed, staring.

Hawktalon's expression dropped at her words, frowning unhappily. If she was really saying things were different..."You know, it hasn't been just this. You're right, things have changed and you're not the cat you used to be. The cat I cared for so much...you're different. And it's not a good different Snowfeather."

Snowfeather sighed a bit, and shook her head side to side.

"Oh well, HawkTalon. I'm not doing so well, too many things are on my mind, and there are things troubling me."

She looked away, while her ears were twitching a bit, along with her tail lashing side to side. She didn't want to do anything at this point, she just didn't know.
