Honeypaw's black tipped ears pricked up at the sound of another cat approaching, and as he lifted his head to look a familiar face came into view. It was Sunlight, one of the more energetic warriors of Riverclan. She reached out with a paw and nudged the apprentice before asking him what was wrong, which only prompted the ashamed young cat to look towards the ground once more. It was not that Honeypaw was ignoring her, it was simply that the tom did not know what to say.

'Great...now she's going to figure it out too...'

All of a sudden there was a giggle from the she cat, and the apprentice whipped his head around to stare at her with both embarrassment and anger. Was she laughing at him because he could not swim? Because that would be too much for Honeypaw, and the harsh glare that he showed Sunlight gave that away. But as the warrior spoke to him with calm words the apprentice's expression softened and he looked down at his paws again to reply.

"I... I can't swim... kinda."

Honeypaw could not bring himself to look at the she cat after he said that, and the cat still expected that Stormstrike was disappointed with him. The river that flowed before the apprentice seemed more terrifying than ever, and a small shudder passed through his thin body as he relived his near drowning experience yet again in his mind. 'How am I ever going to do this?'

The she-cat smiled softly, and got back on all fours. She nudged her pink nose against his shoulder lightly, and let out a soft purr.

"Then, come on," she softly mewed, slowly walking over towards the water, "If you come with me, I'll tell you a secret."

She let her paws glide through the shallow water barely, letting the cold water make her yellow pelt shiver for a moment. SunLight couldn't help but purr with joy, for she loved the water. Ah, she knew HoneyPaw would, too.

She turned around rather slowly, while the blue liquid made ripples around her lithe figure. She wasn't very plump, but she wasn't skinny either. It seemed as if she was just right. Ah, not like it mattered anyways.

"Come on now," she mewed softly, letting her words slide out sweetly like a mother would to her kit.

Ah, this will be enjoyable. He will learn, and quite quickly, too.

She stood there, while her ears flicked once in a while, her smile creased upon her golden muzzle.

The deputy watched the two interact, a smile on his face. If this warrior could get Honeypaw back into the water...it would be by the act of Starclan. 'Maybe she should be his mentor....if these two bond doing this. I know she's young but...' Stormstrike thought to himself as he studied the two with his bright blue eyes, sitting down in the shallow water.
