On the move (Swiftfire, Firestar only)

Nightclaw hated the idea that they where going to fight a clan that had done nothing wrong. Nightclaw liked to fight but not for a pointless or unreasonable reason that started the fight. Nightclaw wondered if there could have possibly been some way to stop Foxstar or warn Firestar. But who would help him? He needed help maybe he should start asking around but not giving away what he was going to do.

Swiftfire had slinked into Riverclan territory, figuring that some way she could warn Firestar of what Foxstar wanted to do. It all seemed pointless. Her claws were itching to show off her moves, but not for this senseless reason. No cat needed to die just because of Clawpaw. As she wandered farther into Riverclan territory she stopped.

She realized that this all might just be a hopeless thing to do. There was no cat with her that could back up her claims and if she got sent back to Windclan, Foxstar could use it as an excuse to further her attack or punish her.

Swiftfire sighed as she continued onwards.

Nightclaw came walking till he had reached a small clearing and saw a cat up ahead Swiftfire? Nightclaw came out from behind the bush "S-swiftfire? what are you doing here?" he asked his voice calm but curious. He looked to his paws thinking well she could throw the question back at him.."I myself see no right in the attack on Riverclan so I have come to warn Firestar....if you value the right of innocent cats lives you better and please don't tell Foxstar what I am doing" he mewed looking back up at her.

She felt as if someone was watching her and her fur prickled. At the voice of a cat she whirled around, claws unsheathed. Staring back at her was the black tom, Nightclaw. Swiftfire let her fur lie flat. At his question she was about to ask the same thing when he began to explain himself.

Her ears flicked, surprised that he thought the same as her. Saving lives was better than fighting. It seemed to her, Foxstar had gone as mad as a fox. "Don't worry, I won't tell because I'd be giving myself away as well." She walked towards the tom and continued,"It seems we have the same plan, find Firestar and warn Riverclan."

Nightclaw nodded "Indeed we do...hmm..what if we were to work together to try and stop this madness?" he asked he had been looking for someone to help him out with stopping Foxstar's plan for a pointless battle. Nightclaw looked to her "So are we agreed to work together?" he asked.

Swiftfire nodded at Nightclaw's statement. She'd help him and together they'd try and hopefully stop this madness. Saving lives was more important than shedding blood. Even if Foxstar didn't agree that it was against the warrior code to kill due to her leadership part in it, Swiftfire would make sure that Foxstar wouldn't be in a battle. It was the last thing their leader needed at the moment. All cats, if all were killing each other, would aim for a leader with only one life.

"Yes, let's work together to save our clan and Riverclan,"she mewed.

Firestar was hunting, the rest of the patrol nearby. She heard voices and she stalked forward, then appearing from the bushes, "Who are you and what are you doing on RiverClan territory?" she hissed.

Nightclaw was first to look up to see Firestar "Firestar we have come with important news Foxstar is declaring war on Riverclan, Miraclefur injured Clawpaw the Shadowclan medicine cat apprentice and he now holds a scar that will forever mark his face. The thing is Foxstar believes she is still with Riverclan" he mewed the toms bright yellow eyes glowing as he explained the situation.

Firestar shook her head confused, "Come with me." She mewed, flicking her tail towards the camp. "This way." she mewed, walking towards camp, when they got there she paused to watch the camp life. Rosekit was stalking a leaf while Spottedsky, Littlewhisker and Crystallight chatted over some fresh-kill. Firestar sighed and lead them to her den. "Foxstar is declaring war on RiverClan..." she hissed, "RiverClan hates Miraclefur as much as WindClan, if not more." She spat.

The she-cat became startled at Firestar's approach, but she let her fur lie completely flat. She did not want to ruin this for both clans. At the leaders questioning, Nightclaw chimed in quickly enough that the leader wouldn't notice her discomfort.

Swiftfire shot a thankful glance towards her clan mate for breaking the ice and covering for her. "Half the clan agrees and the other part not so much. We tried to get her to stop, but she told us we must follow her commands because the Warrior Code states that 'leader word is law'," she explained to the Riverclan leader.

She followed the leader and her eyes widened as they entered the camp. This was her first time inside Riverclan camp and it looked so different, but yet the same. Swiftfire followed Firestar some more and when the she-cat began to talk, she sat down and nodded as she found out that Riverclan hated the cat as well. She knew it was something like that.

Shuffling her paws she added what she dreaded,"She's calling for blood! She wants to kill as many cats as she can Firestar!"

"StarClan have mercy on us all." she mewed, "Alright. I know what to do." she sighed, "The kits and queens will be taken to a secure location and well..." she sighed. "I have alot to do. Nightclaw, Swiftfire, you have RiverClan's thanks. You can take some fresh-kill before you go if you like, though I know most WindClan cats don't like fish their may be some land prey mixed in there." she mewed, walking from the den. "You should go, but before you do... I must press at the time and date of the event." she mewed.

Nightclaw nodded and followed through Riverclan camp till he was with Swiftfire and Firestar in her den. He listened closely to what they where saying and followed through with agreement in that they should prepare. "The time and date has been set for dawn her exact words were we attack at dawn [ you should prepare good and prepare fast Firestar if not try to reason with her and tell her Miraclefur is not here or let two of her most trusted warriors come in the camp and cheack they can report back to her, now these are just options you should keep out for because there is not need for bloodshed and thank you for the fresh kill now we shall be on our way if Foxstar notices she will have our heads oh and one more thing half the cats are forced she has said that she won't give them there warrior name if they don't follow..." he explained.

"RiverClan will not beg for mercy, but after the battle I will find Miraclefur and I will bring her back here so she can see the damage she has done." she hissed, her claws digging into the soil.
