Goldenfur woke from Bluepaw's side. She had fallen asleep beside her. The moon was setting and the sun began to rise. She smelled her fur, her breathing was shallow and slow uneven. Goldenfur shook her head, she should have woken by now, she ran to a nearby puddled and soaked up some with some moss. She dripped some in her mouth. Bluepaw didn't even stir. "Oh dear!" she mewed.

Riddlehawk got up, still tired though he had slept all day. He heard Goldenfur mew unhappily and ran over, though his paw was still hurting him rather badly. "What is it, Goldenfur?" he asked, running into the den.

"Its Bluepaw, she hasn't woken up yet.... I thought she was only knocked out." she shook her head. "What if she never wakes up? What if she dies in their sleep?"

CowSpot heard GoldenFur, and he glanced around the MedicineCat's Den. He saw DappledFrost asleep, so he thought he could help GoldenFur.

He padded out, going in the direction he heard the yowl. He walked in, memories flooding over him. He shook his head, and looked at GoldenFur.

"What is it?"

For some reason, he had a sense that he knew what could be wrong, what to do, for some reason.

Goldenfur shook her head, "Bluepaw hasn't waken up yet! I tried to wake her up but she hasn't even stirred!"

CowSpot looked at GoldenFur, then at BluePaw. It seems to look like her breathing was slowly going down.

"Move. I'll help her."

When the cats moved, he went to the Medicine Cat's den, looking at all the herbs. He picked out a green stem, that had a white flower at the top. He picked another, which was a yellow flower, completely.

He ran back out, going to BluePaw. For the breathing, he grabbed the yellow flower, that was called Coltsfoot. He placed it in her mouth, and closed her jaws, rubbing on her throat slightly.

He purred softly, and grabbed the other herb, the white flower, with a yellow center, that was named Chamomile. He waited a few seconds, before letting this one go down BluePaw's throat.

He took a step back, and glanced at the other cats. He didn't know how he knew what to do, all he knew is that, he knew what the herbs were for.

"Let her have space, and her breathing shall return to normal."

He turned, and went back in the Medicine cat's Den, curling up in a ball, which made him look like he didn't do a thing.

Goldenfur narrowed her eyes at him, she didn't trust him. But Bluepaw's breathing returned. But other than that she didn't stir. Goldenfur grabbed Bluepaw's scruff and dragged her back into the clearing. "She should stay out here."

CowSpot rose from his nest again, for some reason knowing she was dragged. He walked out, and looked over at BluePaw.

"Leave her be. Her breathing is fine, so let her sleep."

"No, I can't stay in the medicine cat den with her..." Not with you, nither her nor myself. "I must stay with her until she is better, I will not leave her side." she curled around her daughter and nuzzled into her fur to hold her tears.

"Mmm...wh..what's going on?" Rainpaw picked his head up sleepily, blinking sleep from his eyes as he woke from his dreams by the yowl. What was going on? He shook his pelt, getting to his paws and looking around. Where was Bluepaw? At this he got a little worried till he heard voices. He padded over to Goldenfur, looking to Bluepaw with concern. "What happened?"

CowSpot looked at GoldenFur, his tail lashing back and forth.

"Do you not trust me?! Just because I lost memory, doesn't mean I am not trusted, that I am not loyal! At least I am not mouse-brained enough to disobey a cat, who knows more about healing than you!"

He looked at RainPaw.

"I told GoldenFur to leave BluePaw be, because she needs to have space. And she is so mouse-brained that she stays by her side, touching!"

"She is the last kin I have and my daughter! Like you care, like any of you care!" She nuzzled buck into Bluepaw. "You were supposed to look after her! You were in charge of her! You let her become this!"

"Cowspot knows what he's doing Goldenfur. I know how hard this is, but you must put your trust in him. Starclan will guide him." Twilightwing mewed quietly, she had been sitting a few feet away from the group and had watched it all unfold.

"You don't understand, she is my daughter I must stay with her. To you she is just an apprentice, but to me she is the last kin alive, my daughter, she is the last piece of Firefur." she padded to the edge to the clearing, "But if you want to take her away from me then fine!"she turned away and curled by herself.

Twilighwing motioned to Cowspot to watch over Bluepaw before padding over to where Goldenfur was. "I know how hard this is for you. I had to watch my siblings die of greencough. I had to watch my father drown in an attempt to save my mother who also died. I know how it feels to watch them leave you, but Bluepaw won't do that, not if you let Cowspot help her. Starclan wouldn't let an apprentice leave without giving it a fair chance at living."
