Bluepaw got up and went to the entrance to wait for Cowspot, Goldenfur ran to her and started washing her. "Goldenfur! I'm not a kit!" she groaned. Goldenfur looked into Bluepaw's eyes, "Be careful."

Riddlehawk looked at Goldenfur. I wouldn't wash her. That'll just get your scent on her. Besides. I have a very interesting solution to keeping our scent hidden. We can either go roll in mud and wait till we're coated in it or we can go eat lots of wild garlic. If we cover ourselves in mud it'll lessen their chances of getting a good hold on us and we'll also be able to keep cooler. His tail flicked back and forth as he listened to Tanglestar speak.

Goldenfur flattened her ears and growled, "This is my only daughter to the one that I loved for moons! And you say I can't wash her before she leaves camp with a single warrior as an apprentice while there are LurkClan cats prowling through the forest!"

CowSpot was sitting next to BluePaw, as he heard GoldenFur argue. A soft growl came from his throat.

"GoldenFur, if you wash her, the one you love, then she is going to be in a bigger risk of dying! Now listen to RiddleHawk, got it?"

He scuffled his paws, his yellow gaze fixed on them.

"Mud would be best, it'll hide our coats."

Goldenfur bared her teeth at him and whispered something into Bluepaw's ear before retreating into the Warriors den.
Bluepaw wrinkled her nose, "Mud, do we really have to?" she groaned.

CowSpot looked at BluePaw, and nodded.

"It'd make our coats blend in."

His tail swished side to side, the tip twitching. He flicked his ears about, not liking that he was probably annoying GoldenFur.

Bluepaw shuged and looked at him enthusiastically "Lets leave now!" she purred.

CowSpot nodded, getting up. He shook his pelt, and headed out towards a mud puddle. He sat down in it, then laid, rolling his fur into it. Now, he looked like an ugly brown and black animal.

Bluepaw closed her eyes and jumped into the puddle, splashing mud everywhere. When she got up she looked like a tabby. "sorry..." she mewed.

CowSpot purred, chuckling a bit.

"It's quite fine. Want to lead the way?" He asked politely.

If anything came, he had a direct spot to do some real damage if they came from where BluePaw was.

Riddlehawk padded over to the mud. It wasn't the puddle they were rolling in. He was rolling in black cold sludge. When he shook it stuck to his fur. He looked rather like a miniscule bear. He padded over to Tanglestar. Your turn m'lady. he said with a grin.
