RiddleHawk padded up and sat beside him. Don't look so down. You could be an excellent warrior or a "medic" of sorts. Like a warrior that's a medicine cat as well that could help with injuries after a battle. he suggested, a smile coming to his face.

Clear looked at him, his eyes filled with sorrow. "I'm not the fighting type.. I hate even killing the littlest living thing, like a mouse for instance.." He looked down at his paws, his tail swishing back and forth slightly.

I know what you mean. I dislike killing as well but I do it so I must survive. The fighting comes natuarally when your being attacked. I don't fight on purpose. You'd make a good mentor. You seem to have a sense of right and wrong. You're... honorable. You don't kill without reason. I've met cat's who kill just to kill. They are the ones to watch. RiddleHawk spoke with a wisdom of sorts. Not really an "all knowing" arrogance but a knowledge that seemed like it belonged to an Elder.

Clear scuffled his paws, "I don't know.. I don't feel comfortable around others much.. And once someone said something about LurkClan.. what is that?" He looked over at the other tom, his head slightly tilted.

RiddleHawk seemed to pale at the name. I don't know. But I know it's not somewhere I've wanted to be. I don't know exactly who they are or what they can do. I understand your feelings about being around other cats. I feel the same way. It's only once I really get to know a cat, that I feel comfortable being around them. He shuffled his paws a bit.

Clear looked down at his paws. "I see.. would it mean my name would change too? Clear fits me too well." He looked at RiddleHawk, his tail swishing side to side.

RiddleHawk looked up. Mine didn't, but that doesn't mean you could choose to have yours change. I liked mine the way it was. He shrugged his broad, muscular shoulders.

Clear scuffled his paws, looking down. He didn't want to join a clan, but.. should he? Being alone is so.. different. And if he was a loner, couldn't he be friends with many? He shook his head, and looked at him. "I will stay as a loner, I like it this way."

Clear shrugged slightly, his paws scuffling among eachother. He looked at RiddleHawk, then back down at his paws. What was he supposed to do? He didn't know. Pad away? Talk? Stay? What? He shook his pelt, padding a few steps forward, lapping up water from a puddle.

Suddenly the sound of leaves rustling was heard and a small cat came bounding into view. "Riddlehawk, Riddlehawk!" The little voice was that of Rainpaw's as he skidded to halt beside his mentor. "Hey, I wanted to show you tha-....?" He trailed off as he saw the unfamiliar cat infront of him and he didn't recognize his scent. "Who's this?" He asked, eyes narrowing as he glanced to his mentor.

Clear sighed, and looked at his light gray paws.

"Just a loner, sir."

He stood up, his tail swishing slightly.

"I'll go if I have to."
