CowSpot looked at his vole, and took two swift bites, the corpse now there. "Be right back."

He gripped the remains of the vole, and rushed out towards the bushes. When he came back, his white paws were now matted with dirt. He shrugged, the dirt not really 'matted', but being a bit brown.

Goldenfur nodded and started eating her own vole. She too started eating it then went to bury it.

When GoldenFur came back, he was no where around.

Goldenfur got into a battle position. She listened carefully in the bushes.

CowSpot wasn't in the bushes, he was hidden in the shadows of the hollow.

Goldenfur's ears were pricked at her scent was checked.

CowSpot suddenly jumped at her right, landing on her flank. He looked at her, purring in delight. "Surprise."

Goldenfur smiled. "Nice..." she mewed sarcastically... with laughter in her voice too.

CowSpot purred, getting off of her. He shook his pelt, his muscles now showing in his powerful limbs. He yawned, "Gettin' a bit tired." He padded towards the entrance of the hollow, the light shining on his black and white pelt, the black spots warming to him.

Goldenfur nodded and laid down. Her eyes blinking sleeply.

Cowspot looked over his shoulder, "So, how are you doing?"

Goldenfur looked back at him. "Good," she mewed.

CowSpot nodded. He turned his head back around, his gaze fixed on the sky. He was starting to like this she-cat, as a friend that is. He doesn't want a mate, at least not yet. She was starting to become a rather good friend.

Goldenfur looked at him. She looked at the sky too. "You shouldn't look at the sun for too long," she mewed jokingly "You could hurt your eyes."

CowSpot just shrugged, looking at GoldenFur, "Is that so? Well, I will look at the clouds instead then." He said jokingly, looking at the dark clouds. He sighed, "Gonna rain. Sleep here, or go back to camp?"
