Mossflower was sitting in her nest, staring at the remains of the mouse she had just eaten. She couldn't eat anymore. She felt that if she ate one more bite she would explode. Maybe the kits were do soon. She shrugged the thought off, thinking that they wouldn't come for a while. She smiled and looked at her white paws.

Suddenly, she felt a terrible pain in her stomach and yowled. She couldn't stand the pain. "Flairheart!" she yowled, hoping he was still in the camp. "Dappledfrost!" She called those two names over and over, hoping they would come.

[CROOKY]

Flairheart was gathering food when he heard his mate call out. He frantically ran to the queens den. He yowled there was his mate in pain. He started to freak out. " I'll go get Dappledfrost!!!!" He yowled running to get Dappledfrost. "Dappledfrost, Dappledfrost, Dappledfrost!!" He yowled through camp in depseration.

Mossflower didn't want Flairheart to leave her side, but she knew that it would be better if he got Dappledfrost. She kept yowling out random cat's names, for she wanted someone to comfort her and be there. She stood out of her nest and layed on the warm ground. "Flairheart, hurry up!" she yowled.

CowSpot heard the yowling, and knew what was happening. He dashed towards MossFlower, and licked her head comfortingly. "You'll be okay, just lay down and relax, FlairHeart will get DappledFrost, better yet, He should stay and I will get her." He ran up to FlairHeart and told him to go back to Mossflower, while he got DappledFrost.

[CROOKY]

Flairheart ran back to the den. "I cant find Dappledfrost!" He said frantically running and laying down next to Mossflower. "What do you need?" He asked trying to find away to be useful.

Hazelthorn had heard the noise and ran in. "Dappledfrost is out gathering herbs, I trained as a medicine cat for awhile, I'll be right back!" He dashed to the medicine cats den grabbing some poppy seeds. He ran back to the she-cat. "Eat these they will ease teh pain but that's all you can eat. " He instructed.

Mossflower yowled in pain again. "Flairheart, it hurts!" she yowled. She ate the poppy seeds, and looked at Hazelthorn. "Thank you, Hazelthorn." She could feel the pain start to ease, but it didn't go away completely. She looked into Flairheart's eyes.

CowSpot sighed, running back in the nursery. He knew he wouldn't be much help, but MossFlower needed some help, needed comfort. He glanced at her, his eyes filled with grief, looking back at FlairHeart, "What should I do?"

Flairheart lay next to his mate licking her forhead. "We can do this honey, we can!" He mewled comfortingly. He was worried he didnt like to see Mossflower in pain.

"You can go get some moss and water for Mossflower, Cowspot." Hazelthorn told the tom and then pressed his paws on Mossflowers stomach to feel around sorts. "Okay Mossflower when you feel the need to push do so." He meowed wisely.

CowSpot nodded, and ran out to get some moss. He found it quite easily, but he grabbed an extra one to fill with water. He didn't know what the cat exactly meant, but he did this anyways. He quickly dashed back into the nursery, and nudged it to HazelThorn, his tail tip twitching. At least I am helping.. somewhat..

[Tanglekit]

Tanglestar heard Mossflower yell and trotted into the nursery. "The first kits of the season", She purred full of joy. She padded up to Mossflower and licked her head in comfort. She then turned to Cowspot and said, "Thank you now leave. This is only a place for the queen and her mate." She turned around and walked out herself. This was a very special time for the clan and soon more kits would be on the way. She purred in excitement. Before she left the nursery she called back, "Please come get me after then arrive?"

CowSpot wanted to stay, he wanted to help comfort her, or do something to try to help. He sighed, and padded out, his tail drooping. ..Guess I'm no help afterall.. I didn't even help my parents when they died! His ears started to droop, his eyes filled with pain. Obviously, something was bothering this young tom, more things than one.

Flairheart nodded in thanks to the tom as he brought the moss. "Thank you you have have been very helpful!" He said with gratitude in his eyes before looking back at his mate. 'Anything else you need?" He asked

Hazelthorn watched the she-cat lap up the last of the poppy seeds and then moved the moss where they could lap up at it. One he had laid a bedding for the she-cat he turned to leave. "She is right I will alert Dappledfrost when she returns to camp until you will have to do this on your own." He backed out of the nursery. He saw Cowspot his tail drooping and he padded over to him. "what's wrong Cowspot?" He asked friendly

CowSpot just paused, and glanced at HazelThorn. "I can't really be that helpful, even with them I am not, with my parents.. I just froze... in fear.." He looked down at his paws, sighing.

Mossflower yowled again as she felt them coming. She pushed and pushed until one came out. "Flairheart, look," she meowed, wanting to go over and see the kit. But she knew there was more to come. She kept pushing, waiting for when the next would come.

ooc: The one who was just born was Robinkit, the oldest she-kit.

Flairheart looked at the she-cat and then at the kit. "Its beautiful!" He licked it like he saw all the mothers do to a new kit. He was after all new to this.
