"I'm sitting on it," Twitchpaw smiled, not expecting her mentor to understand why she was so happy about showing him a fallen tree. "This tree is amazing, it's magical... like Starclan in my opinion even though I don't think magic has anything to do with it." Her tail wigged happily twitching often, thumping on the log, showing that it was hollow with the sound it made.

Rainwing raised a brow curiously. "This tree?" He asked, then looked down to the hollow tree as she thumped her tail on it. He padded closer, looking to it. "It's just a hollow tree isn't it?" He looked up to her.

"Nope, it's way more important then that," Twitchpaw smiled before hoping down to the ground on the other side of the tree, she dug at the ground till a small hole appeared in the trunk. Twitchpaw smiled and slipped inside, the smell of herbs escaping from the hole, "See, this is why, this trunk is hallow but also can store herbs and for some reason, they stay pretty fresh in here."

Rainwing scented the herbs immedietely and followed her into the hole, yet he couldn't fit his whole body into the small opening. He looked around, eyes widening. "Wow....Twitchpaw, this is amazing!" He said as he looked at all the herbs.

"Yeah, I've been working on this for moons, even though I've only been your apprentice for a little under a moon, I use to sneak out of the camp following this squirrel that showed up all the time. It showed me herbs and the tree trunk, it was really fun," Twitchpaw smiled as she checked her herbs, "They stay fresh here for a long time, most of these herbs have been here since the beginning, I have other things to show you but I can show you as we go herb hunting, I have other things around the forest, like my poppy plants that I have growing. They are where I get the poppy sends most of the time."

A big grin spread across the medicine cats face. "This is real impressive Twitchpaw! This could be really useful, thank you for showing me this." He said, looking to her proudly. He was going to say more when his ears twitched at a call. "Hey...did you hear that? It sounded like Skypaw..."

"Y-yeah, was he asking for help?" She mewed as she crawled out from inside the trunk and listened before hearing him again, "I can tell where he is, mind if I go ahead?" Twitchpaw hoped it wasn't something serious since she was still learning on how to treat wounds even though she able to remember several herbs already.

Rainwing frowned, not liking the tone he had heard in the apprentice's voice. "Yes, go ahead and lead the way for me. They need us it seems." He said, his cheerful attitude more serious at the problem at hand.
