Skypaw watched Shadowpaw leave, wondering why he always took off when he was trying to be friends. Somehow...Skypaw wanted to break through that hard outer shell of Shadowpaw's and become his friend. He just felt like, well, that's what the tom needed. He looked to Riddlekit as he went after him, padding up behind the kit as he stopped. "Seems he doesn't want to play Riddlekit." He then got an idea. It may not have been following the rules, but it was with good intentions. He looked to the kit with a smile. "Hey Riddlekit, want to come with me to track down Shadowpaw?"

"Twitchpaw?" The voice of the medicine cat broke through the clearing and the tabby soon stuck his head out of the medicine cat's den. He spotted his new apprentice and shook his head with a chuckle. Napping...he wished he had time for that. Rainwing padded over to the she-cat, prodding her side with a paw. "Twitchpaw...?"

Twitchpaw lifted her head and looked at Rainwing, "Yes?" She looked around and dropped her ears, she was hoping that her brother was going to be someone around the camp but she didn't see him, "What do you want me to do? I -yawn- think I can stay awake." She smiled, she was very tired but knew she had to do her job to help her mentor since she was his new apprentice. She had stayed up most of the night before, hoping to catch her brother since she wanted to talk to him but she didn't see him, if he came into the camp, she had fallen asleep. How can I keep missing him, he... he... why does he keep himself away from everyone? Twitchpaw looked to the camp entrance, wondering if she would every manage to see her brother again.

RiddleKit looked over at SkyPaw, and gasped with joy. He nodded gleefully, and tried to leap upon his shoulders. It wasn't possible for himself, since he was still a bit young. He even tried to be quiet, for he even knew that that is the rules.

Rainwing smiled, glad to see her awake. "Alright, because I'll need you awake to help me gather some herbs. We're running low on a few things and I could use your help finding them." He said, seeing the sleepiness in his apprentice's eyes. What had she been doing to make her so tired?

Skypaw muffled a chuckle at the kit's reaction, crouching down to let him on his back. "Okay...but we have to be quiet or we'll get in trouble. And Shadowpaw can't know we're coming after him, alright?"

"Alright, what herbs are low? Or is it everything?" I have most of them in my secret stash but fresh would probably be better since the weather has been good. Hmm, I should keep that stock for later, when colder weather comes. Twitchpaw twitched her tail, yawning again before stretching, her small nap wasn't nearly enough to refill her energy but she had a job to do so she would have to deal with her tiredness, "Oh, is there going to be a medicine cat gathering soon?" (Do you guys do those?)

"Just a couple of things, not too much." Rainwing said, starting towards the exit of camp. He glanced back to her at her next question, nodding. He looked up to the sky, tail flicking back and forth in thoughtfulness. "Hmm....it should be coming up soon. Are you excited about it? It's your first one after all." He said with a smile, remembering his first one.

"Yes, I can't wait. I hope I get to meet Starclan while I'm there," Twitchpaw smiled before following her mentor out of the camp, hoping that she could remember where the herbs they were after where. She looked around the trees just outside the camp, wondering what herbs they were after so she could start looking for them.

He purred even more, getting himself right in between the tom's shoulder-blades.

Rainwing laughed, glancing back to her. "You'll meet Starclan, I promise. You'll probably meet my mentor, Dappledfrost. You would have liked her." He said with a smile as he padded into the forest with a slight limp. His injury was as healed as it was ever going to be and it still gave him a prominent limp at times and the scar along the back of his leg was covered by some fur.

Twitchpaw smiled before heading into the trees, "Hey.. i-if I show you something will you keep it hidden from the rest of the clan?" Twitchpaw figured that since she was now a medicine cat apprentice, that she shoud share her hiding spot for herbs. She knew it how help them later should something happen to their herb store.

Rainwing looked over to her curiously. "I promise." He said with a honest grin, nodding. "After all, us medicine cats get to have some secrets." He said, shrugging his shoulders. He was curious to what she had found.

"Really?! Good, follow me," Twitchpaw smiled before darting into the trees, not thinking that her mentor might not be able to keep up, she knew he would like her tree trunk since it was prefect place to store herbs outside the camp and it was well hidden so they didn't have to worry about others raiding it. He's going to love it, I know he will, it's the best place every and it smells so good inside~ Twitchpaw grinned as she stopped and looked back, not realizing that she might have lost her mentor.

Rainwing laughed with good humor, following her the best he could. He was still a young cat, but his injury prevented him from fully catching up with her. He lost her around one turn, slowing down and looking around in confusion. "Twitchpaw? Where'd you go?'

Twitchpaw heard him before running into view, "Over here, we're almost there," She smiled before disappearing again, jumping onto the log, waiting for him to reach the clearing. I hope he agrees that this place is the best place every, Twitchpaw thought happily not feeling so tired anymore since she was to excited to bother thinking about sleep.

Rainwing caught sight of his apprentice and followed her the rest of the way, not far behind her now. He reached the clearing a few pawsteps behind her, looking around. "So what do you have to show me?"
