This elder seemed to sit outside of the elder's den. He was still upset over DappledFrost's death, but who wouldn't be? She was a wonderful Medicine Cat.

The tom sighed, his big brown eyes gazing at the sky. He was always an odd one, not just because he had no fur either. It was mostly because he loved to stare at the sky, how he talked, and how he just loved, well, almost everyone.

He was never a fierce warrior. Which, most looked up to him with that. He was always kind hearted. He would NEVER kill a cat.

"Well than."

He spoke rather cooly, for it was rather hot out tonight. He didn't understand why.

Not only that, he wanted to stay outside. He knew his time was soon coming, faster than he liked. No one would be able to tell, but his days were soon going to end.

Turtlekit, Riddlehawk and Mousefur's little daughter, padded out of the den. Her odd little bobtail flickered back and forth as she padded towards Kestralspot. "Hiya Kestralspot!" She purred, licking his leg, for it was the highest the little kit could reach and she wanted to give him a friendly gesture. Oh how she LOVED to sit here and listen to his stories!

Twitchpaw walked around the camp, yawning every few steps, she was very tired but didn't feel like sleeping since she was planning to go check on the plants she was growing around the camp. I guess I should eat or something to wake me up since I'm falling asleep on my feet..... not what I need right now. She sighed before seeing the kits and Kestralspot(Is that the older cats name?). "What are you up to? Thinking about something to informing Turtlekit some life lesson from a story?"

The old tom looked down at TurtleKit and gave a soft smile. Soon after, he saw Turtlekit's sibling, RiddleKit come padding over. RiddleKit was being silent, and staying a bit away.

"Hay TurtleKit!"

KestralSpot purred, and then looked over at TwitchPaw, and gave a soft smile.

"Wish I did, hun. Sadly, I got none."

He chuckled a bit at that, and gave one wheezy cough. He shook his head back and forth, and reached down to give TurtleKit a soft lick upon the kit's head.

"You feeling okay?" Twitchpaw mewed, walking over to the elder, "Are you having any issues breathing or just tired?" he was worried that he might be sick even though she couldn't remember him coming to talk about being sick to her mentor. "If your feeling sick or even just having a hard time breathing, I can get you something to help, just tell me." She smiled before looking at the kits, "Hey wanta play? I got a game we can play."

KestralSpot looked over at TwitchPaw and gave a sly smile.

"I'm fine. It's just I'm getting older, that's all."

He smiled softly, and then looked at RiddleKit once more.

RiddleKit slowly padded over to TwitchPaw, his nose sniffing the air. He shook his head side to side, and gave a yawn.

"Nah."

He mused, looking over back at TwitchPaw.

Twitchpaw looked at the kit, confused before sighing, "Well, would you like me to get you something to ease your breathing? It would make me feel better, old age doesn't have to defeat you, one can stay strong till the end..." Twitchpaw's ears pressed against her head, showing that she didn't agree with the elder being weak, thinking that even old age could be fought to some extent if tried. She then looked at Riddlekit, "Nah what?"

"TwitchPaw, Imma fine. Believe ma. I may look like some "ragged" old bones, but I am alotta stronger than I look."

He said ragged funny, for he had no fur. But, it was true, he did look ragged, no matter if he had fur or not.

His big-fanny-like ears twitched a bit, and stood up. He was quite large, almost as big as RiddleHawk, but he did have a slight slump when he walked. He padded over to TwitchPaw, and sat next to her.

"Believe me darlin'- if I wanted to die, I would wanna die in ThunderClan. I would wanna die without no herb. May make ya'll feel betta, but doesn't mean I'll have the same honour."

He chuckled at this, and made sure that he spoke rather softly, for he didn't want the kits to hear it.

"To the playing suggestion, silly."

He laughed.

Twitchpaw nodded, sighing, "Well I can't make you." She then looked to the kit, "Really? Oh... I'm bored though and I figured it would help you two become warriors." She smiled, her tail twitching before sighing again, "I... I guess I'll head to bed then." She stood up, yawning, feeling upset that the kits didn't want to play, guess it's not my day then.

KestralSpot watched the medicine cat apprentice pad away, but she didn't get five steps without her tail getting mauled by a little kit.

Oh, yes, it was RiddleKit. He didn't want her to go, he just didn't want to play at the moment!

"Boo! I didn't tell you to leave!"

RiddleKit exclaimed, stumbling across to get infront of the much-bigger she-cat.

"Whether you told me too or not, I was trying to stay awake, I'm tried, I was hoping a game would help." Twitchpaw smiled, not caring that her tail was being eaten alive by the small kit. She nosed the kit before sighing, "Besides, I -yawn- think I need the nap..... " She smiled before nosing the kit again, "Sorry."

RiddleKit's eyes furrowed. He gave a hiss.

"You offered to play! I was kidding.. And now you say no?"

He spat, and stomped off, his tail lashing back and forth with anger. That just irritated him, and it made him rather puzzled.

Turtlekit looked up at Kestralspot. "Kestralspot. Do you have any stories you know?" She asked, her little bobtail flickering. She connected with this elder tom. They both had strange 'deformities'. Her bobtail, his being hairless. That's why she was always hanging around the elder's den.

KestralSpot looked down at TurtleKit and gave a grin. His teeth were a bit cracked, but that was usual for an elder.

"Hm.. Lemme think."

He tried to think, but nothing exactly came to mind. It was sad though, because he enjoyed giving stories.

"Did I tell you about the four great cats that used to rule this forest? The four clans?"

Ah, he was referring to LionClan, TigerClan, LeopardClan, and {..Was it PantherClan or Cheetahclan.. can't remember.. I'll ahve to grab my book..}.

"Oh... you where kidding?" She grinned before tackling the small kit before scooping him up and dangling him by the scruff, "How about....." Twitchpaw had to think before placing the kit on her back, "Hold on as tightly as you can, I'm gonna run around as fast a I can, if you can stay on for the whole trip, I'll be do what ever you say for the rest of the day, unless you have something better to do?" Twitchpaw smiled, her tail wagging happily, fighting off the need to fall asleep. She looked at Kestralspot, "I've heard that one a long time ago."
