Shadowheart's fur ruffled and she backed away, "Tanglestar."

Tanglestar heard the birth of her name from Shadowheart's lips. She came through the clearing as quietly and quickly as possible. She looked from face to face very curious as to what was going on. "Stareyes are you ok?", she asked glaring at Dirtfur. She hadn't gotten over his first murder and now he was going to fight Stareyes? What did he have against Thunderclan? "Dirtfur what have you done?", she asked warily her eyes never leaving him.

Stareyes snarled. "YES IT WAS. It was YOUR fault my sister was murdered. YOU are the one who took her life! You're the one who dealt the fatal blow!" She lunged up in the general direction where the blind she-cat thought his throat would be. But when she did she missed, leaving hers wide open...........

"S-she attacked him Tanglestar." she protested. Her fur stood up and she stuttered.

Tanglestar's eyes widened in shock as Stareyes left her throat wide open. "N-No.", she whimpered. If Dirtfur delivered the final blow that took Stareyes life it would be her last straw. She had tried to stay strong and at least temper the hate that she had for him. But it he killed Stareyes, he would feel the wrath that she had kept concealed for so long. He would see that Tanglestar wasn't going to tolerate him anymore. She would not kill him but make sure that he was kept healthy and under close guard so that he would be far away from every that he had every loved ore cared for.

Shadowheart turned to the scene, she gasped. If, no when Tanglestar attacked she would be ready.

"MoonShine said that it wasn't! She said that I wouldn't be able to stop it, it had to happen!"

He hissed. He noticed her neck wide open, but no, he didn't go to bite it to kill her, not yet, but he did do something else.

He lunged his left paw on her throat, and held it to the ground. His eyes began to water, tears streaming down his face.

"StarEyes.. Do I really have to do this..? I don't want to.. but you are forcing me to.."

He was well aware of TangleStar there, but that wasn't why he was acting pathetic. It was because she was blind, because she was the sister of MoonShine, because he didn't want to kill her.

Tanglestar hissed a number of profanities but never had she been this angry. "Dirtfur you can be blinded and babied by Moonshine, but she comforts you because she loves you. Well we aren't going to let you have the easy way out. We aren't going to send you to Moonshine, we are going to make sure that you wander this earth year after year as you whither away to dust and even then I pray that your awful spirit is cursed to be exiled from Starclan forever.", she growled in disgust. But as plainly as you saw the hate she was also afraid for Stareyes. She was well away that she could take care of herself but Dirtfur was a ruthless warrior from heck that didn't cherish life, but took life from others instead.

Shadowheart's heart was filled with anger of Tanglestar's words. She stood up, "You have no right to say that!" she snarled.

Tanglestar turned to her. "You want to play that game eh? He had no right to kill Moonshine. He had no right to come into my camp after killing her. He had no right to ask for my forgiveness. He had no right to bring you into my camp for healing. He has not right to lay a paw on Stareyes in her own territory. He has no right to even be on our territory. If you want to start with the you 'have no right' I would suggest asking Dirtfur the reason he killed her, and why when I tried to get her back to our camp for healing that he attacked me and watched Moonshine die by his very paw. Before you protect him look over the deed he has done and is doing now. If he kills her , which I am guessing he will.", she spat in disgust. "'Oh Tanglestar please forgive me it was an accident.' Oh an accident eh? I turn my back on you for the journey to Shadowclan and here I find you getting ready to kill again.", she hissed. If he did kill it would mean that she had to take justice into her own hands. "If you kill I will make sure that every cat in the forest is watching you and making sure that you are brought to me for prison for life.", she growled. Her tail quivered with anticipation. She would not tolerate the second murder by her hands. She looked up to the sky and prayed in her heart to Moonshine. "Whay are you letting him kill your sister? Why do you tell him that it is ok to murder?", she pleaded for Moonshine to spare Stareyes.

"She attacked him!" she snarled, her fur rising. She stormed up to Tanglestar, her face nose-to-nose with her. "You have no right to blame him for all your troubles! Moonshine has forgiven him, maybe it might show some respect to her if you follow." her tail lashed and her eyes blazed with accusation. Her claws dug in the soil and she snarled.

Tanglestar growled when the warrior came to close. "Stareyes had the right to attack Dirtfur, he is still in Thunderclan territory. And I don't have to forgive anybody. Do not question my respect for Moonshine, she has the highest respect and love from me. As for Dirtfur I am not going to baby him and tell him it was ok to kill Moonshine.", she spat as he hackles rose. "You are new to clan so I don't expect you to understand this but the clans do not have to get along with each other. That is why we have different territories and scent. I will not respect Moonshine by forgiving a murderer. And what do you know of My respect for her. All you care about is that you are in love. But let me tell you. Outside of your fantasy telling yourself that he is a good cat and he is sorry, life goes on.", she growled. She was so stressed over Shadowclan that she was ready to kill Dirtfur here and now. "Does Dirtfur show respect to Moonshine by loving you.", be fore they reply with the whole it is her will bit she would bring it up. "I don't care if Moonshine tells you it's ok, it isn't. Did you ever think that Moonshine doesn't want you to die so that she doesn't have to deal with you in Starclan.", she sneered looking towards Dirtfur.

Stareyes snarled, lunging again for Dirtfur's throat only to be pinned down with one paw. The weight of the tom on her windpipe and the claws that dug into it made her gasp for breath roughly, the noise coming raspily from her. She kicked her hind legs up, clawing at his belly. But the damage was done. Even if she walked away from this fight, she wouldn't last more than a week back at camp.

Shadowheart bared her teeth, her fur bristling with fury. Her claws dug in the dirt and she crouched, as if to lunge, but she didn't." She looked over to Dirtfur, and then at her paws.

The harsh words that TangleStar was saying only made DirtFur more upset, more mad. His claws unsheathed, clawing into the blind she-cat's neck. He didn't know if it killed her right then and there, but all he knew was, he threw himself onto TangleStar.

He didn't care she was a leader, all he cared about was fighting for himself, for MoonShine, for ShadowHeart, for the future.

"Shut up, you piece of foxdung!"

He hissed.
