Shadowheart watched from her side of the border with ThunderClan, gazing out into the "Forbidden Land". If she set paw on it she would be killed. But could any cat harm her if she was only a fox-length from the border?

After what he heard from the meeting, he decided to go get some fresh air. It wasn't right to the little kit, ClawPaw, to not be trained into a Medicine Cat.

He decided to discuss this with SpottedStar himself, but he decided that he should catch a rabbit or two, so he could return to the camp with something.

Then, he saw ShadowHeart, his heart plummeted, would she let him pass?

He looked down at his black and white paws, and sighed.

"I don't think Spottedstar wants to speak with any ThunderClan cats at the moment. Why would you want to anyway?" She sighed, "ThunderClan hates ShadowClan because of my love's actions."

His head swiftly moved side to side, and then stared at her.

"I don't care what DirtFur did at the moment. Your clan needs help, ClawPaw needs DappledFrost to help him. She won't allow it.. but.. I'm willing to help."

He whispered, hoping there were no ThunderClan cats around.

"My son is going to be trained in WindClan, Dappledfrost can't risk her life for him." She said questioningly. "And you can't either."

CowSpot sighed, his ears flickering.

"Either way, it will turn back on ThunderClan. I just know it. It will go back on all the clans. There was always five clans in the forest, and if ShadowClan is gone... I don't know what would happen to the others.."

He ducked his head down, and sighed.

"We are capable of living for a few moons until Clawpaw is medicine cat. I can't let you risk your life for nothing!" she protested.

"You wouldn't know, you haven't been here when there was a Medicine cat, let alone that you weren't clan-born!"

The black and white tom fluffed his fur out, eyes narrowed, and cold as ice.

"I watched what happened with Stareyes, and I don't blame DirtFur."

He growled.

"I know you had nothing to do with it, and if we don't solve any of this, there will be no ShadowClan. I know. You aren't ThunderClan, and you don't know what TangleStar is planning."

He snarled.

"I might not but I'm not stupid!" she said coldly, looking away. Suddenly her heart filled with rage at his words, she faced him and bared her teeth "I'm not letting you past! Is that Clanborn enough for you? Or should I attack you first?!"

Roka padded along to her usual places that she visited when she was a loner. Sure she was party of a clan now but it never hurt to have a calming walk. She discovered a scent with Cowspot's, and she had smelt it before Shadowheart. Would there ever be peace. Sure if Dirtfur hadn't killed Moonshine all would be alright. But she had grown to know Tanglestar and she knew how deeply she loved everyone of her warriors. She loved them like a queen loved her kits. But she was still at fault for not helping Shadowclan. Well she wasn't about to go off and ruin the best thing that has ever happened to her. She had a home with Cowspot and her kits were happy for the most part. And she wasn't about to let anyone screw it up for the sake of kindness. Sure if anyone had killed one of her kits she would be pissed to the point of killing. But at least Tanglestar isn't going after Dirtfur with claws unsheathed like a savage. A lot of cats called her cruel but she didn't see it as that way. She was doing the best she could to keep her family safe, and anyone who thought different was going to be banished. She looked through abush close to the border and saw Cowspot talking with Shadowheart. What is he doing is he about to screw up their whole life together to help Dirtfur. If so she wasn't about to help him. She knew that her best chance to survive would be to stay with Thunderclan were they could protect her and her kits.

CowSpot's claws unsheathed, digging in the ground. His eyes were now cold, and piercing into the she-cats fur.

"ShadowHeart! Put some sense in your mi-"

The scent of Roka, his mate, wafted in his nose. He turned his head, and looked at a bush.

"Roka, Come on out. I know you are there."

He said softly, his claws sheathing. He turned his head back to ShadowHeart.

"I will get over there."

He hissed in a low whisper.

"You don't think I am Clan enough? well if it were any other ShadowClan Warrior we would stop you!" She snarled.

Roka peeked out before turning the other way. She should have expected this Cowspot was going to try to help them and break apart their family. She wasn't sure what to do whether run and tell Tanglestar or keep it to herself. Either choice challenged what she had grown to know.
