She looked at him skeptically when he stated that he was fine, and laughed when he came to put his head on her shoulder. She had plenty of warmth to share, her plush coat keeping her fairly warm. She was surprised how much she liked the feeling of his head on her shoulder. That touch sent a warm, tingling feeling through her. Wait, was she falling for him? No, she couldn't be, could she? She rested her head on him, and then tentatively licked his shoulder. Sure, she had flirted some, but not that much. She was slightly confused, but falling for him more every second.
Knowing that she wouldn't be able to see it, Batwing smirked. By her gestures, he had a feeling that his plan was working.
He'd get her to fall in love with him, pretend like he wanted loved her and wanted to be mates. So far, he was guessing that Lostsong was pretty naive if she was buying his little act. If they became mates, then they would, most likely, have kits. Even if he was banished, his blood would still run through Thunderclan for generations...
He had to be patient. What would he say next? Nothing was coming to mind. The black tom would just have to wait for her to start up a conversation before he spoke.
(Hi there! I'm Train :3 Nice to meet you two, I don't think i've met either of you two yet because i've been so busy! But this looks interesting, mind me adding in a cat that might disrupt Batwing's little scheme? X3)
"Oh, Lostsong, there you are. Would you mind lending me a paw?" Now a warm voice sounded behind the two, interrupting their little moment. The voice belonged to none other than the Thunderclan medicine cat, Rainwing. The young tabby looked a little out of it, like there was a lot on his mind. He had been really busy lately and had a lot on his mind. He smiled lightly to the she-cat, you could tell he was desperate for some help. His eyes did catch sight of Batwing and his smile faltered a bit. He was wary of this tom, he saw the murderous and untrustful look in his eyes. And going after his old mentors daughter didn't help matters either. What was he up to now?
((Hi! I don't mind you joining at all! That's why it says open, right And ignore Batwing. He doesn't like intruders...))
Batwing pulled away from Lostsong. It was a shame-he was beginning to enjoy being so close to the pretty she-cat.
"Hello, Rainwing," he said. His tone was polite, but his eyes were narrowed and his tail was twitching in irritation. "What is it that you need? I might be able to help as well."
How dare this incompetent snob barge in and try to ruin my plans? I bet he's trying to get her to not trust me, just like everyone else! I'm not going to stand by and watch as that happens...
Lostsong was so... well, lost in her thoughts and emotions that she didn't hear Rainwing approach. She quickly lifted her head, saddened by having to stop her contact with the balck tom and slightly embarrased that she had been cought in a touching moment with a cat that was, well, not in good standing in the clan at the moment. Not that she really cared, but she didn't want to get in trouble. Well, not really. Sometimes trouble can be fun, but at times it can be heck. She smiled at Rainwing, and nodded. She then heard batwing's voice, and sme smiled larger. He was caring and sweet. He wasn't just some big jerk or a kit killer like everyone said he was. He was just misunderstood.
Lostsong noticed how frantic the medicine cat looked. Of course I'll help. What do you need me to do?
Rainwing studied Batwing a moment, he could see through his friendly act. Just what was his game? He snapped out of it when Lostsong replied and his tail twitched towards his den. "My herb supply is running low and I could really use some help because I have to still watch over Icepaw. But since both of you are willing....Batwing, could you help me gather some herbs? And Lostsong, would you mind watching over Icepaw for me?" He asked kindly, smiling. But there was strategy behind his request.
Batwing looked over Rainwing for a moment. The medicine cat had agreed to let him help him... but why? Something wasn't right here... The tom had seemed a bit edgy when he'd first arrived, so why accept the invitation?
But the most confusing thing was was why he'd asked Batwing to help him look for herbs instead of Lostsong. Was it that he wanted someone more responsible to look after Icepaw? Or was he trying to separate the two...?
The black tom let out a sigh. Looked like he'd have to wait 'til late in order to go through with his plan. "I suppose," he said after a moment of thought. "Is that all right with you?" he asked Lostsong.
Spunky and Trouble-seeker just like his father, came a little kit. He looked exactly like him, which is how he got his name; RiddleKit.
He was hurrying along behind RainWing, trying not to exactly be seen. He wanted to help with whatever RainWing was wanting to do.
"Rainwinnnng!" chipped up a little voice, while the little scrap of fur huddled up underneath the tom, staring wide-eyed at BatWing, "I wanna help too![/b}"
He was getting a bit cold, but he wouldn't show it. He didn't want to show any fear. He didn't want to show anything.
All he wanted to do was stay by RainWing at the moment. He wanted to help. And, well, honestly, he just wanted out of camp in general. He disliked being cooped up all the time!
But now, his interests were starting to chip into something else. BatWing. He heard the story from TurtleKit and CoonStripe! Ah, how he wished he was bigger. So, instead, if he does go along...
He'll just have to annoy him, too.
He wanted to be a trouble-maker. He wanted to make BatWing squirm. He wanted to be clutched in his jaws, only to have BatWing's jaws tore open by small little claws. ((Haha that rhymed.))
RiddleKit just stared at BatWing, but for now, he decided to show no anger. Just... curiousity. To be honest...
He wasn't a dumb kit. He thought things out, just like his father. He was like him, in a way(like I've said a bunch), he just never shows the anger deep down iside. ... Yet.
The thing is. He gained most of his attributes from his father. Oddly, but true. He wasn't sure why, and no one could answer that either.
People/cats are just going to have to see at how he becomes. And, if cats were smart enough, they would figure that he was like his father as well.
Yet...
Ah, nevermind. That's for another day. This is said because things would be spoiled, and things that shouldn't be said will be said.
RiddleKit rubbed against RainWing's front legs, hopoing to encourage him to say yes even more. While his little plan started to roll on through is walnut-sized brain.

OCC: Sorry got carried away there. But the fact is, I tried to make it long, and it kinda fit. ;P I have a few ideas rolling up.

Lostsong chuckled to herself. First, her and batwing were all alone, and now cats were coming out of the woodwork. Not that she really minded, but she was sad that she was now being seperated from the tom she had developed a crush on. Her dark chocolate ear twiched at Rainwing's request. Of course I'll look after Icepaw for you. She gave one last longing look at Batwing, before she smiled.
She could hear the kit clumbsily following Rainwing, and laughed as the kit stumbled up to the medicine cat. They were a lot alike, that was for sure. Even in looks. So of course the kit wants to help. Lostsong was a tad surprised at the kits reaction to Batwing though. Kits tend to over react to things, and Riddlekit was in the nursury with Turtlekit. He had to have heard the story, yet he showed no fear. She went up to Riddlekit and bumped him with her nose. So Riddlekit, do you want to be a medicine cat too? Lostsong asked, her voice singing softly. She didn't speak down to the kit, just treated him like a reagular cat, like she would a fellow warrior.
Batwing's tail flicked in irritation. No one seemed to mind Riddlekit's presence... Did anyone care about kits wandering from camp? When he was a kit, if he was caught outside of camp, he'd get in major trouble. But these kits seemed to go about as they pleased...
He stared at Lostsong. She seemed happy about the kit's presence. Why? This would not end up like it had with Turtlekit, he swore.
"Riddlekit," he said calmly. He'd keep his anger under control... this time. "Why are you so far from camp? I know you want to help Rainwing, but you should be in the nursery."
The black tom glanced at Rainwing without turning his head. Lostsong might fall for his act, Riddlekit... he wasn't do sure about him, but Rainwing was the one he was worried about.
He sighed. "Well, I suppose you can stay here with us for now. After all, you will have a warrior and a medicine cat looking after you. But if you get into trouble when we return, don't go complaining to me!"
Rainwing smiled with relief towards Lostsong as she agreed. "Thank you so much...you have no idea how stressed out I have been lately." He meowed with a sigh of exhaustion. While he said this, he studied how close the two cats were to each other and he knew what was going on. He had seen similiar reactions and expressions when he and Sunpaw, now Sunlight, were close. But something seemed off with Batwing being in this equation, but he didn't know exactly what was bothering him so much.
He turned his smile to Batwing as well, even though he could see the unfriendliness in the tom's eyes. He knew this was all a ruse in front of Lostsong, but why was the tom trying so hard? "Thank you Batwing, that would be a big help..." he trailed off, feeling a smaller body at his feet. Riddlekit? The medicine cat frowned, looking down to the kit. "Riddlekit, we're going to collect herbs. I don't think it's wise for you to come along. Go with Lostsong instead, alright?"
RiddleKit looked at Batwing, and just stared. He didn't trust him at all. He wouldn't. And he was going to prove just how BatWing really was/is.
"No. I'm coming along, RainWing! I wanna help..." he turned his gaze at LostSong, "I just wanna help Rainwing. I know he needs more than one cat to help!!!"
RiddleKit padded up to BatWing, his little short fur bristling a bit. He tried to keep it flat, but he just couldn't.
"I wanna ride on his shoulders..." he muffled, the plan starting to roll out in his mind.
