"But we gotta finish our training together!" Skypaw said, blinking in curiousity as what he said, his head tilted to the side as he listened. "I'm sure not everyone thinks that, why would they? I don't think that Shadowpaw." He reassured his friend, smiling again.

As Icepaw listened to the two ThunderClan apprentices talk about becoming warriors and finishing their training, he frowned a bit and laid his chin down on the mossy nest. Right then, he should have been training back in RiverClan. Needleheart could rarely be bothered to take him out for a training session, nowadays, though. How long would it be till he got his warrior name? How long had it been since his first day as a RiverClan apprentice? The tom couldn't really say. From what he could remember, he'd joined RiverClan when he'd been perhaps seven or eight moons old- definitely over his sixth moon. Icepaw's eyes closed halfway in thought.

"Yeah.... like their gonna let me," Shadowpaw stated looking at Skypaw, "Admit it, my size is an issue, I'm to small even though I am good at fighting. Size is important, to small and then your in trouble because it makes fighting more dangerous and I know I'm too small but... I'm fast, " Shadowpaw sighed, getting up and heading for the fresh kill pile, "Where is my sister anyway?"

"Oh, her and Rainwing went to find some more herbs." Skypaw responded after him, remembering he was supposed to watching out for the Riverclan apprentice. He sat there, tail twitching as he thought about what Shadowpaw said. "Yeah, but you won't always be so small. Besides, Rainwing was once really small too."

CowSpot was lurking at the entrance, his ears flickering. He was always seeing what SkyPaw was doing. I mean-- shouldn't he? Sure, Skypaw was his first apprentice, but it was always good to see what SkyPaw did in his freetime. Ah, this was rather enjoyable.

When ShadowPaw spoke, CowSpot couldn't help but let out a chuckle. He knew his "hiding spot" was blown there.

He moved into the Medicine cat's den, and sat down beside ShadowPaw, He knew ShadowPaw was a bit fiesty, which reminded him of his son-- CoonPaw. Maybe, just maybe, they could be friends. MAYBE. He didn't know.

"ShadowPaw, size isn't everything. In fact-- it's better to be small. You are faster than larger ones, and you can get out of difficult situations... Believe me, I wish I could be a bit smaller," CowSpot looked over at the apprentice and smiled, "Do you wanna train with Skypaw-- when you are a bit better?"

He blinked slowly, and looked over at SkyPaw for a brief moment before traveling his gaze back at ShadowPaw.

At the sound of yet another unfamiliar voice, Icepaw's head shot up in an instinctive alarm. Being in a strange camp, surrounded by cats who should have been nothing besides his enemies- it all was making his senses flare. His dusty-color ears fell back against his head at the sight of the warrior. He was a large tom, a good enough opponent. A fight against him may not be so easy. True, the black and white tom at the entrance wasn't seeming as if he was all that aggressive- for the moment, at least-, but Icepaw was taking no chances here. The RiverClan apprentice let out a low, quiet growl, just a little louder than being under his breath, and flicked his tail tip irritably.

Shadowpaw looked at Skypaw, "Yeah but he's a medicine cat now so he's size doesn't matter." Shadowpaw sighed, shifting to look at Cowstop, sighing, "Yeah but if your too small then that is an issue, I haven't grown since I was four moons old, even my sister is bigger then me and I'm the older of the two of us and I'm far smaller then her." Shadowpaw sighed, laying his head down, looking at Skypaw, twitching an ear, "Well.... training wouldn't hurt since I have to do something once my tail is better." Shadowpaw yawned, tired from sneaking out for the day.

CowSpot sighed, and looked at his paws.

"If you really are so upset over being too small, then soon the ones around you will think that. If you keep thinking that you are perfect the way you are, then the ones around you will think that," he looked over at the white apprentice, letting the tip of his tail twitch, "Does that make sense? Whatever you think you are-- that's how others see you as. Stop the negative thinking, and starting thinking positively. You aren't too small. You're just right."

The tom let his paws twitch with discomfort. He never spoke like this-- to anyone. He slowly got up, and shook his head.

"Keep that in your mind," he solemnly mewed while he started to pad out of the medicine cat den.
