Shadowpaw's stubborn stay

Shadowpaw growled before getting up, trying to make his way to a tree, the remaining fox attacking him before Shadowpaw turning and sank his teeth into the paw closest to him. The fox growling before moving away to attack again, clawing at Shadowpaw, the fur along his right side turning a deep shade of crimson, Shadowpaw yowling again before attacking the fox again not thinking about the state of his tail, not caring since he was going to be dinner if he didn't fight. He looked to Skypaw wondering how he was handling his fox since he was in better shape then Shadowpaw.

Though he was in better shape then the other, Skypaw still wasn't doing so well against the full grown foxes. His shoulder was bleeding badly as long as a slash across his eye. But he wasn't giving up and he managed to bite down hard on the foxes tail and growl fierce enough to send it away.

"Shadowpaw, hold on!" He called, going to help him with the other fox but he was a little unsteady on his paws because of lack of blood.

RiddleKit just stood there, confused. SkyPaw seemed odd, and he didn't want to explain why he was acting so strangely. When he told him to get help, he didn't know what from. He didn't know what to do. He just told him to get help.

He didn't hear no yowl at all, so he just stood there, awkward. He suddenly saw a black and white pelt flash beside him, and he could only guess it was SkyPaw's mentor. He must be worried as to why SkyPaw left so quickly.

CowSpot saw how SkyPaw reacted, and he detected something odd. He heard the yowl. He rushed on his paws, ignoring RiddleKit, and everything else that was in his path.

When he arrived at the scene, he was quite impressed with SkyPaw, along with ShadowPaw. ShadowPaw still fought, no matter how much pain he was in, no matter what shape he was in.

CowSpot launched his whole body onto the fox's back, but since of the fox's length, he didn't cover it all, which may not be a swell thing. Not to mention, CowSpot was rather small.

He sunk his claws in, and bit at it's neck, not even sure if he was causing any damage. He probably wasn't, but he didn't care. He wanted to help. He didn't want these two apprentice's to die.

Shadowpaw growled, clamping his teeth into the underside of the fox's neck as Cowspot caused the fox to freeze, the fox howling in pain before falling to the ground Shadowpaw falling too. His fur turning red quickly from his wounds, exhausted from the effort. He looked at the fox, not realing the it was dead. He looked to the warrior before passing out, unable to keep his eyes awake, all the strength in his body having disappeared the blood loss that he was suffering from wasn't helping matters either.

Skypaw let out a sigh of relief as his mentor showed up. He didn't have the energy for much else as the apprentice was worn out. He looked to see Shadowpaw collapse, and he stumbled over to his mentor.

"Cowspot...." Was all he could manage to say, trying to catch his breath as he then, unselfishly started to help get Shadowpaw back to camp. He was more worried about his injured friend.
