Goldenfur was laying in the sun, it's hot beams warming her fur. She watched Scarshadow leave, he was going out for a bit, or so he told her. But she was oblivious to his actions so far. She was just too in love. She was more young and alive than she had been in years, and it was hard not to notice it.

Purring could be heard from the other side of the clearing coming from her throat. Her eyes were narrowed so they didn't hurt from the harsh rays and her ears were laid back. Though these actions were concidered angry, her face showed a mellow contentness. She smiled and shook her golden fur, it glowed in the light and her eyes were no longer grey, but the deep, creamy blue from her mother.

The elder slowly slithered out of the Elder's den. Unlike other elders, he was one that still liked to roam the camp, no matter how bad it hurt. He loved feeling the wind blow against his frail body, for it brought back so many memories.

He saw GoldenFur, and decided to visit.

"Hey, hun, how's that boy treatin' ya?" KestralSpot asked with his weird accent, letting his whiskers twitch.

Goldenfur turned to him, she smiled to see such a good friend. "He's great. It is so nice to have a cat curl up to me that isn't my daughter." she purred, "It is nice to see you KestralSpot." she sat beside him, smiling warmly.[/center][/color][/font]

Ah, it was always nice to see a friend so happy. It made him happy inside as well, if only if he could have a she-cat of his own. Ah, but he was too old. Plus, did he really need one? It seemed like he didn't. He was fine just how he was and is.

KestralSpot couldn't help but smile at the female, letting out a ragged purr.

"That's nice, 'cause hun, if he wasn't, I would try to be my ol' self," he kinda joked, giving GoldenFur a wink, "'Cause someone as purty as ya, well, there should not be no hurtin' or anythin' else."

Goldenfur flicked his with her tail playfully, "Don't worry, I can take care of m'self." she purred. "I could wrangle any tom who crossed my path if I really wanted to!" she sounded like a new apprentice, except what she was saying probably WAS true.
