DirtFur let out a purr. He smiled at the she-cat, his purr going down.

He walked around the she-cat, and gave her a few sniffs.

"I will say, the clan will not be so happy, and neither would SpottedStar.."

He sat down infront of her, and then looked at Tagrafi.

"It is wise if you run off, before I give you harm."

He stated.

Shattered, who had been curled up at his mother's belly, was starting to squirm. There was too much tension in the air. His father's presence would have been bad enough, but this new cat was just making it worse. He hissed at the bigger tom, his puffed out fur making his look like a tortoiseshell fluffball. "Mommy is strong! I is too! I can protect her," he mewed, trying to sound tough.

Spottedfire- no, Spottedstar, had heard the commotion on her way back to camp from the Moonstone. She was tired from the journey, but the agitated sounds had given her a burst of strength. She raced towards its source, and came face-to-face with one of her own warriors, Dirtfur, a tom loner, and a she-cat loner with suckling kits. Her amber eyes flashed, and her head swung to face the cat she knew. "What is going on here?" She was confused, startled, though not really as angry as she made herself sound. She just had stumbled on a situation which could mean anything.

DirtFur glanced at SpottedStar, and smiled.

"I was just about to ask you something, when I got back to camp with this queen. I was going to ask if we can take care of her in our nursery until her kits are well enough to be on their own."

He looked at the tom.

"Now, You must really leave, or I will harm you, and I am sure my leader here, will as well."

His eyes narrowed slightly, then stopped to look at his leader.

"No, I do not care for this she-cat. But I had something in mind.."

He whispered, and continued.

"If you wish to know, I will tell you in your den, if you wish."

Spottedstar's eyes narrowed and her tail twitched. "Dirtfur, you know very well that leaf-bare is coming, and we will need all the prey we can catch to feed our own cats. A nursing queen with so many kits would be a heavy burden." Her eyes flashed in the she-cat's direction as she spoke. "I can allow them shelter under some conditions for now, but that shelter will be second to ShadowClan. And as for your idea," she added in a more hushed tone, "I will listen after we get back to camp."

She turned back to the queen. "This all, however, depends on if you take my offer. What is your name?"

DirtFur smiled, and looked at the queen. His tail tip twitched with satisfaction. It looked as if his plan was coming in place, as long as she agrees.

It would be nice to have more apprentices, warriors.. Although, we would soon have to get rid of the queen, fast, but would the apprentice's be full bled? As in, great warriors? Or would his plan fail?

He shook his head, and sat down. His plan didn't sound rather well, which is not good. His eyes narrowed in frustration with himself, his tail tip twitching.

"My name is Shadow." she mewed, she did not hesitate to go over to her kits and nose them. The Leader was right, it would soon be leaf-bare. She would be in trouble without some sort of care... But would they have her? Shadow would not give her kits away, even if they could be her own burden, she loved them, as her mother had once-loved her." she sighed at the thought of her mother.

Spottedstar blinked. "Well, then, Shadow. You may came back to camp with us if you wish, and take shelter from approaching leaf-bare. Of course you'll be expected not to cause us trouble- or your kits for that matter. As a loner, I doubt you have experience with Clan life, so know to respect our warriors and not take all of our prey for yourself." Her tone was cold. Her leader ceremony had not made her completely accepting of loners or other non-ShadowClan cats for that matter.

Her attention fell of the loner tom standing nearby. "And is this tom anything to you? If not, he will be escorted off our territory promptly." Her tail flicked a silent command to Dirtfur.

Shadow store coldly at him, "He means nothing to ME, but he is the father of my kits. But maybe he should leave me? Because he doesn't understand that I can take care of myself. Tagrafi, I cannot be your mate, I never intended on having one."

The ShadowClan leader nodded in understanding. "Very well. Dirtfur, please remove this cat from our territory. Feel free to use force if you see fit to do so. Meet us back at camp. I'll call a meeting when you do so."

Spottedstar looked back to Shadow. "Are your kits strong enough to travel? Camp is not far off, and I can carry some if you need."

"No no, they will be fine. Wont you kits?" she mewed to them.

Fang looked at her with big eyes, then to her mother and nodded, not saying a word.

Shattered nodded, and mewed confidently, "Yes, Mama! We're fine." He glared at the new she-cat, her foul, unfamiliar scent not giving the kit a good first impression of her.

Spottedstar almost let out a purr at the tiny kit. He had a strong spirit, one that a Clan would value. "Then we best be off. I've been away from camp too long, already." Signaling with her tail for them to follow, Spottedstar turned about and began leading the family of loners away from the rotting carrion and towards camp.

Tears mew'd. Maybe he can have complete warmth now, the cold was getting on his nerves. He nodded towards her mother.

"Yes, Ma!"

He walked up to the Leader, and gave a good sniff, before padding back over to his mother.

Dirtfur flicked his tail in approval, and in understanding towards Shadow. He stood up, and looked at Tagrafi.

"Right this way."

He flicked his tail to show Tagrafi the way, before walking off in the opposite direction of the two she-cats.

As Shadow walked in pace with her, with an eye on the kits, she spoke. "Would you like to know their names?" she mewed.

Spottedstar's ear pricked in surprise, then relaxed as she looked down at the young kits. "If they are to stay with ShadowClan, then that would be good to know," she mewed, attempting to sound pleasant. These cats posed no threat to her Clan, after all, but it was still hard to let her guard down.
