Pain was scraping across this tom's heart like never before. He was a wreck, he looked like a walking pile of dust.
Maybe not dust, but he hasn't cleaned himself since. He's been getting worse and worse.
His whole pelt was matted up, dirt clogging inside his claws, pads, everything.
Nothing was good, nothing was great.
He held grief, he held nothing he ever held before. He used to want to control the whoel forest, but now, he just wanted to get away. He just wanted to rot.
His gaze was fixed on his paws, as his pads scraped against the frosted ground, a sigh muffling out of his jaws.
