The brown tabby tom was sitting by the edge of the small pool, by the barn type cabin. He stared in the pool, watching his reflection. He still had nightmares of that night, he still wanted to kill himself, to stop the nightmares, to be with MoonShine, but that couldn't happen.

"MoonShine?"

He whispered in the night, remembering that she said that if they needed her, to call her at night, and she might come.

His ears flickered, hoping that she would. He had questions... about what he should do. Where he should go. Why he was still being tortured, sure he was feeling guilt, but why else?

The pale outline of the dead Warrior stuck out a bit against the darkness of the forest around her. She was in a playful mood, chasing Starclan's messengers, the ghostly butterflies that they sent around at times. She spotted Dirtfur from behind and she crouched down, pouncing on him playfully when she got within five feet of him. She purred, lashing her tail back and forth. Hello!

DirtFur blinked, as he tumbled down. He purred, already knowing who it was before she said anything. He could smell her scent a mile away. He glanced over his shoulder, staring at her.

"Hello!"

He purred.

The pale she-cat wound herself around him a few times, rubbing her head on his shoulder and neck. Mmmm. I missed you. But I promise to come and see you often. I'm not leaving just yet. Moonshine purred, batting at his ears playfully.

DirtFur purred, and nuzzled her cheek.

"I miss you, you probably know that though."

He smiled, and laughed when she batted his ears.

His tail flicked against her left ear playfully.

Moonshine nodded, lashing her tail about.

What has gone on while I've been busy, hmm? Gotten yourself into any mischeif?

The pale she-cat smiled at him.

His ears flicked, and shook his head.

"No.."

He still purred, he was glad that she was in his presence, and he was in her presence.

"I.. still feel guilty though."

Moonshine flicked her tail concernedly.

Don't feel guilty, love. It wasn't your fault. Starclan willed it to happen that way. You weren't completely in control.

Moonshine licked his cheek, nuzzling his shoulder affectionatly.

He sighed.

"But why?"

He was confused on that. He gave her shoulder a quick nuzzle.

"ThunderClan now hates me.. SpottedStar doesn't really know how to react.."

He sighed.

"I know I might of wanted.. to control the whole forest and all.. but I wouldn't think I would really.. kill a cat."

His ears fell back against his head. She was the only cat that he told that to.

There are things I can't tell you, love. Things that you have to figure out on your own. It happened for a reason and it isn't my place to tell you why it happened.

Moonshine said slightly sadly, flickering her long silvery tail. She nuzzled his cheek, purring sofly.

DirtFur sighed, and stared at the ground for a moment. When she nuzzled his cheek, he nuzzled her back.

"I wish you could.."

Thing is, why was it meant that way? Why did it have to be him? Why couldn't it be someone else?

Moonshine sighed, flickering her long tail quietly. She looked to the sky, watching the stars flicker about like odd little butterflies. They were stationary and speeding at the same time. Only Moonshine could tell the diffrence really.

DirtFur nodded, and stared at her, then the ground.

"I'm not going to be with anyone else.. I'm only going to stay with you."

He sighed softly.
