DirtFur was looking at the gurgled water, his head back. He knew he couldn't swim, and he was about to leap in the gurgling water.

"MoonShine... this is for you."

He murmured under his breath, getting ready to leap into the dangerous water, which was now starting to freeze over.

Leafheart snuck through the forest. She was trying ever so desperately to be unseen. She looked towards the Shadowclan a tom and approached catiously. "Dirtfur are you ok?", Leafheart stuttered nervously as she slid closer to him.

DirtFur was about to jump, but LeafHeart said his name. He looked over his shoulder.

"I'm going to take my grief away, my pain, and everyone else's. I'm going to kill myself."

His eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

Leafheart shuddered slightly at the mention of death. "O-hh w-el-l don't l-le-tt me inte-rr-upt you.", she said shaking all over. She had always been such a happy cat all the time but recently she felt the need for extra caution. She shuddered again struggling to keep her teeth from chattering.

Leafheart shook her head nervously looking around at the same time to make sure no one was there. "No-o Not you", she shook so heavily that she couldn't hardly speak. She was only scared of Tigerfang. He had traumatized her for a long time or even life. She shuddered away from the memory that she hated so much. "Don't let me bother you.", she sighed turning to leave.

DirtFur's ears flicked, and nodded.

He choked, staring at the water once more.

Shadow had followed Dirtfur's scent, he was so distressed she hoped he could go hunting with her or Somethin'! She heard slushing of ice water and stood frozen for a moment, then rushed to his aide. "Dirtfur! Did you fall in?!" she wailed.

DirtFur just kept his head above water, since he heard Shadow's voice.

"No.."

He gurgled.

"Did on purpose.."

He ducked his head under, trying to keep it under.

Shadow gasped and jumped in, her paws expertly churning into the icy water. She Grabbed his scruff and started for star.

DirtFur shook his head desperately. The water churned in his ears, not even hearing anything, but water. He didn't know who grabbed him, which he suspected Shadow. He mumbled through the water, since his muzzle was still under water.

"Stop!"

The only good that did, was pour water in his mouth, making him choke.

Moonshine watched from her perch atop the tree. When she saw him jump she dove in after him, grabbing him roughly by the scruff, and hooking her paws under Shadow's belly. She lept up and out, dragging them to the bank. She shook herself roughly, not to get rid of the water, because she couldn't get wet of course; but to get rid of her irritation. DONT EVER DO THAT AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR ME YOU MOUSE-BRAINED FOOL?!!!!! The ghostly she-cat was FURIOUS. She lashed her tail, glaring at him. Dying is NOT the answer, do you understand?

Shadow had reached shore. Her sleek pelt wet but panting, she dragged him on, pinning him so he could jump back in.
