The leader was taken aback by his words. She hadn't been expecting that. Their short conversation had taken some interesting turns, but this was probably the oddest. Spottedstar dipped her head before the warrior turned to leave. "Thank you, Dirtfur. I'll keep trying to own up to those words, and try to keep ShadowClan strong." A small smile had made its way onto her face. Whatever happened in the nearby future, she would have to remember it. When Dirtfur turned to leave, she did too. She went the opposite direction in a light run. The Gathering would not wait for her forever, but she no longer felt pressed for time.
