The apprentices summoned and gathered, Spottedstar quickly went over the choices of mentors in her mind before calling them out. "I call upon my warrior ancestors to watch over these three young cats as they begin the journey towards becoming warriors. Guide their paws over these moons as they train in your ways." The she-cat looked down at them, each with a confident smile.
"Spotkit, from now until you have earned your warrior name, you shall be known as Spotpaw. Your mentor will be Carefeather."

"Lavenderkit, until you reach your warrior name, you shall be Lavenderpaw. Your mentor will be Runningpath."

"And Aphrodite. Like your sister, you have chosen Clan life over that of a loner. If you remain with us and learn our ways, you shall be made a warrior. But until that day comes, your name will be Blossompaw, and your mentor will be Shadowheart."

Spottedstar dipped her head to the three apprentices, giving them time to step back and greet their mentors before beginning the next ceremonies.

Spotpaw nodded and off he was to meet his new mentor Carefeather he soon found her and with delight he mewed a hello "When shall we start our trainning?" he asked quietly with excitement surging through his fluffy cream fur.

Lavanderkit was so happy she ran to Runningpath. She was her mother's best friend and it would be an honor to learn from her. Her fur bristled when she reached out to touch noses with her new mentor. She had forgotten all about Tigerfang for the moment and for once in so long she was happy.

Blossempaw bowed her head and licked Spottedstar's shoulder respectfully, then touched noses with Shadowheart. In her time with the clan she had learned Shadowheart too had once been a loner who had to fend for not only herself but her six kits. Blossempaw, was thrilled to have her for a mentor.

Tigerfang got up and walked away into the shadows beside the warriors den he obviously wasn't wanted around...

Blossempaw turned back to Tigerstorm, she smiled to him then turned back to Shadowheart. "Can I train with my sister?" she asked,
"Of coarse! If you really want to, we can patrol the border tonight!"
"Great!" she purred.
Shadowheart nodded, "I will ask Shadowfang."
Blossempaw smiled then padded away, toward Phoenixpaw, "Sister? I want to make up with you, we can be friends right?" she turned her head to the side in question."

Leafheart watched as Tigerfang walked away pain shooting through her chest. She walked away slowly, slipping into the nursery to gather one last glance at the den she loved so much. When she walked back out she returned to the warrior's den where she would be sleeping since her kits were gone. She nosed out her old nest and drug it to the farthest corner of the den, into solitude. Once her errand was done she slipped back into the group to rejoin in her kits happiness.

On A Mission

Spottedstar flicked her ears around as she waited for the three new apprentices to settle back into the crowd of their Clanmates, then waved her tail to recapture their attentions. "And now we have four new warriors to add to our ranks! These cats were not Clanborn, but they have proved their worth through dedication and hard work. Today is when all of it pays off, and they become full members of ShadowClan." The patched leader peered down into the crowd to make eye contact with the cats she spoke of. "Heartpaw, Fangpaw, Brokenpaw and Bloodpaw! Step forward to receive your names."

Dreams Come True

The tortoiseshell apprentice felt his body quiver from head to tail when Spottedstar called out his name along with his siblings. After all this time, after trying so hard to prove his worth, it was all coming together. The tortoiseshell tom looked to his three siblings with eagerness shinning in his amber eyes. He knew his brother Clawpaw would not be among them, as he was still in training with Moonspirit in WindClan, but that was his path. The warrior life was his. He padded up below the Highbranch.

Heartpaw scampered up, looking like she was going to burst with happiness.

Fangpaw trotted up gleefully, with a smile on her face.

The black she-cat was watching Spotpaw pad towards her, a smile on her face. CareFeather purred, and touched his nose gently with her own, and grinned a bit.

"Hello, SpotPaw! I will not only help you become stronger, and wise, but also to care for other cats."

She purred, loving how eager the little tom was.

"Tomorrow. I will show you around tomorrow, with training."

She smiled.

RunningPath blinked, and grinned, her nose touching her best friend's kit. She felt relieved that she got her as an apprentice, although she didn't really want one.

"Hello!"

She purred.

DirtFur shivered with excitement, BloodPaw was becoming a warrior! He now might be able to train MoonKit himself, just maybe. He hoped so.

PheonixPaw stared at her sister, and leapt up with anger.

"Stop following me! Just go away!"

Legs were trembling, for she was rather angry, angry indeed.

"I hate you! I don't like you, I wish you were dead! I will not be your sister, nor your friend, only you enemy!"

Tigerstorm stepped between the two sisters, frowning. "Blossompaw, I don't think that's a good idea.....Phoenixpaw, calm down." He said calmly, glancing between the two not showing favor towards either.

Blossempaw's ears flattened with surprise and defense. She rolled her eyes and ran away, fleeing to the apprentice's den with her tail close to her belly.

Spottedstar smiled. She was proud to see the excitement in their young faces. The she-cat looked up the the sky, where the sun was trying to find its way through the tall tips of the pine trees and yowled.

"I, Spottedstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these four apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I command them to you as warriors in their turn."

She looked down at Heartpaw, Fangpaw, Brokenpaw and Bloodpaw with amber eyes shinning with interest. "Do you four promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the costs of your lives?"

Back To The Beginning

Brokenpaw felt his fur bristle, his well-trained claws slipping out of his paws. "I do!" he mewed with confidence, trying to smooth the fluffed up fur along his tail.

Heartpaw smiled, "I do!" she purred.

Fangpaw looked to the side then muttered, "I do." her claws digging with anticipation.

I See It There In Your Eyes

The leader nodded. They would make fine warriors, whatever their bloodline.

"Then by the power of StarClan, I present you with your warrior names.

"Heartpaw, from now on you shall be known as Heartcloud. StarClan honors your enthusiasm and caring nature, and welcomes you as a full warrior." At this, Spottedstar leapt down from the Highbranch and swiftly padded over to the she-cat, touching noses with her in welcome before stepping back to look at her sister.

"Fangpaw, from now on you shall be known as Fangclaw. StarClan honors your dedication and strong will, and welcomes you as a full warrior." She touched noses briefly with the young warrior, noticing the way she had looked off to the side, and pulled away toward the first tom.

"Brokenpaw, from now on you shall be known as Brokenflame. StarClan honors your eagerness and loyalty, and welcomes you as a full warrior." The leader touched his nose, seeing the gleam of happiness in his amber eyes, and smiled before turning to Bloodpaw.

"Bloodpaw, from this moment on you shall be known as Bloodfoot. StarClan honors your bravery and fierceness, and welcomes you as a full warrior." She touched noses with the last new warrior, then took a few paces back and raised her jaws to the sky.

"Welcome, Hearcloud, Fangclaw, Brokenflame and Bloodfoot- warriors of ShadowClan!"
