Wavesong sighed, cats were anxious. This needed to be over with soon. "Moonsight! Jaggedpelt! Make sure that our clan stays out of that." The warning was meant for his whole clan. He would not have his clan in the middle of this.

"Let go of me! He insulted me! Let me finish him!" Hawkpaw said trying to free himself from Shadowpelts grasp. Meanwhile, Rushtail was staring down the young apprentice. "That stupid Shadowclanner bit my tail! You Shadowclanners are to stubborn to let down just a little remark! Every one of you Shadowclanners is mousebrained! I can't believe you still rely on a leader who is not even trying to help you!"

Swiftstar jumped off his branch. "No cat insults my clan like that!"

At that Shadowpelt let go and attacked Rushtail too "How dare you? Your leader was the one that ran away because he was too cowardly!" she spat, scratching his fur.

Rushtail unsheathed his claws and ran them down Shadowpelt side. "How dare you say that! I will make sure you never speak another word if I have to!"

Hawkpaw ran up and grabbed Rushtail's ear with his teeth and pulled. "We will make sure that you never insult Shadowclan again! I will kill you right now maybe!"

Swiftstar ran up and bit Rushtail's tail. He pulled and pulled, hearing Rushtail yowls of pain.

Wavesong sighed, at least his clan wasn't in this. But this was a gathering! And a leader was involved! A slight growl of annoyance rose in the tom's throat before he lifted his head up and let out a yowl. "ENOUGH!" The words echoed throughout the clearing, and were loud enough that the bickering cats could hear.

Hawkpaw still held on to Rushtail's ear, while Swiftstar stood up and looked at Rushtail. Then he realized that Rushtail was bleeding. Luckily, he was not wounded badly, only a few deep cuts.

Rushtail lay on the ground panting, trying to push Hawkpaw off.

Wavesong glared at Hawkpaw, where ever that apprentice came from, he seriously would be ashamed to have him. Glancing upward he sighed, clouds were just starting to blow infront of the moon. "I'm ashamed of you Swiftstar. Leaders are supposed create piece, not ruin it." Glancing up once again he turned back to the other cats. "If you will Swifstar, would you please come join the rest of the leaders up here?"

"Why are you even talking about leaders when you aren't even one yet?" Swiftstar said.

Hawkpaw let go of Rushtail and ran off into the bushes.

Rushtail got up and shook himself off. "Stupid Shadowclanner." Rushtail said, making sure Swiftstar could hear him.

Wavesong groaned internally before leaping off the branch. "Fine, I won't stand up there. But we'd better have this gathering soon. Otherwise Starclan will break it up."

Shadowpelt growled, "How dare you! You piece of dung! " she spat, lashing her tail.

Rushtail snarled, "I am only saying it because it is true!"

Shadowpelt launched herself back at him, "You'll never say that about ShadowClan again!" she spat, clawing his belly.

Rainpaw watched all this with a look of disgust. How could they act like this during the gathering? It was a time of peace between the clans, not the clans shredding each other to pieces. They were all acting like a couple of kits. His tail flickered back and forth as he watched with no expression in his green eyes, glancing up to his mentor, Riddlehawk, now and then to see what he thought of this.

Stormstrike sat a little closer to the leaders, Hawktalon beside him. This was just stupid. What would it prove to be fighting at the Gathering? "These cats needs some sense knocked into them by Starclan." He murmured to Hawktalon, a hint of disgust in his voice. Hawktalon just nodded, watching the fighting ensue.

Wavesong sighed, before padding to sit below the tree where the other leaders were. This was horrible, he had never seen cats act like this at a gathering. Suddenly the clearing grew dark, and one look at the sky showed that the clouds had completely covered the moon. Starclan was not happy. "If you can't hold peace for a few moments. This gathering will end! The clouds have covered the moon."

SpottedPaw sat there, her eyes clouded with fear. She barely noticed Firepaw, since the fear swept over her. Her fur was bristling, not sure how to respond to anything. She glanced at Rushtail, as in a way of saying that wasn't right to do, that he shouldn't of done that.

She suddenly dashed after HawkPaw.

FoxFire glanced at SpottedPaw, her ears flickering back and forth.

What is she thinking?

She stood up, and ran after her.

NeedleHeart just sat there, no expression. She didn't enjoy this, but she did like it, but not exactly. She suddenly rose up in laughter.
