Crookedheart nodded as Swiftstar sprung from the clearing a little curious where he was off too but not to much so. She looked back over her clan and closed her eyes she didn't want to join with the clans but if it was the only way...

Whispertail was a little alarmed when Runningpath sprung fron his side after her leader. Didn't she ever leave the leader to his thoughts? He thought annoyed a little but admiring her persistance. He followed after her. Maybe if he was lucky he could lead her back to the gathering or camp before she got herself into any trouble. He had just reached the waters edge when he saw her head above the water. "Runningpath you mousebrain what are you doing?!" He yowled in alarm.

Hazelthorn flexed his claws. He knew his leader would opt to pair together rather then stand alone he sighed for he didn't like the idea of pairing with the other clans, they talked rine during the gatherings but other ties were another thing. Time when they could be dedicated to their own clan.

Rancid closed his eyes in pain as he bounded away from the gathering. That had hurt more than he thought it would.

Wavesong sighed, his claws digging into the dirt, where was Swiftstar? Shaking his head he glanced at the other leaders. They should make a decision soon, so they would have time to prepare for the battles that were to ensue. His blue eyes darted around the clearing before staring at the spot where Lurkclan had stood. The newest loners had banned together to fight, why were the others so mouse brained not to do it?

RunningPath saw WhisperTail, her forepaw's quickly padding forward, barely making it through the current. "WhisperTail.. Get some Riverclan cat! Get help..Please..!" She murmured, her head going under. She shot it back up, flailing her forepaws forward, still trying to go against the current.

Whispertail looked anxiously around and saw a log and Runningpath was heading for it. "Try to grab ontu that log and I will go get help!" He yowled. He was on his way to grab help when he scented riverclan. He saw Crookedstar at once. "Crookedstar help!" He yowled

Crookedstar followed the cat to the river and without a pause leapt into the water. With her strong paws she swam with teh current torwards the cats. She grabbed the warrior first for she didnt have nine lives and swam to the shore her strong paws guiding them. Then she dove back in and got Swiftstar. Dragging themm both out she shook her fur and glared at the cats. "what in starclans name were you in the river for. Thats no place for Shadowclan cats" She spat her damp fur a splay now.

RunningPath took deep breaths, as CrookedStar got her out of the River. "I was following my Leader.. and he tripped in the River." She took a deep breath, "And knowing me, with my instinct." She closed her eyes, breathing in deeply, "I jumped in to try to help him." She stared at CrookedStar with cold eyes, but then suddenly nodded her head in respect. "Sorry to cause trouble, but I thank you in every way." Her tail tip twitched, her side suddenly leaning against Whispertail. "And thank you for getting help."

Swiftstar stood up. He felt his cut stinging. He looked over noticing it was bleeding. It must of cracked while I was "swimming". Swifstar silently guessed. He looked at Crookedstar and nodded. "Thank you, but I really must be going." Swifstar started to walk away.

RunningPath looked at SwiftStar, struggling to stand up aswell. Whatever SwiftStar was doing, she won't let him do it alone. She was going to stand by his side, if asked or not. She quickly fell down at her first attempt on getting up, but got back up, keeping balance this time. She walked with SwiftStar, stopping him from walking. "What are you up to..?" She looked at him, curiousity in her eyes, but a hint of concern as well.

Swifstar looked deeply into Runningpath's eyes. "I am going to find Lurkclan's camp." Swifstar whispered, "Then join them."

RunningPath eyes widened, and shook her head. "No!" She yowled, her fur barely bristling since her fur was damp. "I won't let you!" She suddenly hissed, "I'll fight you, just to not let you do that! Even if you try helping your clan by doing this, it won't do no good! All they are doing is setting us up." She growled, "All you are is a mouse-brained fool, the real SwiftStar wouldn't do this, he would protect his Clan, and join with the others. He'd do what it takes!" She looked down, but looked back up at him, her eyes cold. "What happened to that SwiftStar? Wouldn't you of figured out that this would of been a trap either way?!"

Swiftstar looked at Runningpath. "Alright then, I won't join, go back to the clearing, I'll be there soon." Swiftstar looked at her, "I hope." He muttered.

RunningPath didn't move, she stared at him cold. "No. I'm going with you." Her tail lashed back and forth, "I won't let a leader down, at least my leader." Her eyes suddenly went soft, "Whatever you are about to do, I'll help you with it, if it makes our clan stronger."

Whispertail watched embarassedly. Runningpath loved the leader that was sure. and her lengths to protect the leader had mis-conveyed her intentions. Swiftstar was after all younger... He turned and ran back towards shadowclan camp. He knew where Lurkclan was...

RunningPath looked at WhisperTail running away, "WhisperTail, wait! I want you here to help protect me and SwiftStar!" She yowled, I only need him to protect me.. so I can think straight. She thought to herself. She suddenly noticed how kind she is being to SwiftStar, and noticing he was younger than WhisperTail as well. No! Whispertail, I only love you!

Swiftstar looked at Runningpath. "I just need some alone time, you know, to recover." Swiftstar felt bad for Runningpath, after all, he was just trying to get away from any she-cats. He just was nervous around them these days.

RunningPath looked stern at SwiftStar, "No." She didn't care what he said, she wasn't going to obey. She sat there, "Don't be nervous around me either, I'm not looking at you in that sort of way." She snorted, "I'm rather looking at WhisperTail, and now, I think he's jealous cause I'm being nice to you as well, which." She didn't feel right saying these, but she wanted WhisperTail to know she was only looking at him in that way, "I'm only doing it for the Clan." She stared at him, then at WhisperTail's body running off. WhisperTail.. Come back! She shouted in her mind.
